We stayed three nights and really enjoyed our time :-) the owner is very kind and hospitable. He speaks limited English. He offered us wine in evening. Made eggs one morning. A big bonus is secure parking behind a locked gate. Rooms were spacious but one bathroom for eleven people. The house is old and shows signs of wear and tear. The internet connection very slow.

FWe had a lovely weekend stay at his pension. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, simple but filling breakfast, ten minute walk to the old town and easy to find from the train station. Would definitely stay there again:-)

A bit expensive but well located, sheets and breakfast are included which makes up a bit for the price.

Overall a good visit. The manager helped us change rooms after a sleepless night from drunken roommates. Location is convenient and facilities are good. Unfortunately not anywhere to even boil water if you want to make something for yourself. They sai it's because they have a restaurant which is understandable but asking us to leave the dining space with our store bought yogurt breakfast when it was raining outside and no where to go inside was a bit harsh.
Dear D, thanks for reviewing us. Happy we could help you out and make your stay a good one :) Our bar and cafe serves food and drink so that's why we have the policy, but we serve lots of good food and even yogurt here. All the best from Copenhagen and hope to see you next time. Team Generator Cph

Not a bad location or facilities. Had several problems with the staff or lack of. The reception in NOT open 24hours as advertised and the emergency phone number was not connected when we tried to call. Our luggage was locked in after reception hours and we weren't allowed to have it back as a result. Very frustrating experience and lack of information from what is labeled as a place with 24 hour reception.

Nice clean, spaces. Staff was there 24/7, kind, and helpful. The building setup doesn't allow for a great common area so it's a little more challenging to socialize when traveling independently.

Had a very nice time. Met lots of independent travelers and had a good common area for socializing. Quiet at night but you can go to their sister hostel nearby if you want to party. Very welcoming and helpful staff.
Thanks for the review - we're really glad you had fun here!

Good location, not far from San Marco. Nothing fancy but meets your basic needs. Owner is very kind, helpful, knowledgeable of Venice and its areas. He keep everything clean and tidy.

Hostel is attached to a local bar which is cozy and welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dorm room was basic but clean. Safe locker provided was a good touch.

Very good locations, just a five minute walk to Amalfi, few minutes to the beach and if you're up for the challenge an 45minute walk upstairs (lots of them) to Ravello. The owners are very friendly and make a lovely coffee each morning and greet you with genuine enthusiasm. Only downside is there is no common room or space to hang out in bad weather. Overall I enjoyed my say and would stay there again.

Wonderful people running reception. Very knowledgeable about Naples, sights, transport and places not to be missed. The building is old but well maintained. Very clean and any troubles with plumbing were quickly dealt with. It's quiet during the week but very full on weekends. Can't beat the price!

Convenient location to trains and walking distance I major sighs. Grocery store nearby an a kitchen helped keep the cost of eating down (I was there five days). Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Like most 200year old buildings in Italy the plumbing wasn't perfect but they tried to fix hot water shortages quickly.

Easy to find behind the train station. Owner was very kind and tried to be helpful. I stayed in the rooms across the road (still part of the hostel) which seem bigger and more recently redone.

The location is the best thing about this hostel. Clean but old building wih a kind staff but not always the most knowledgeable of the area.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city/town. The walk back and forth took about 40minutes (you can choose to take the public bus) but its location is peaceful and perfect access to the walking trails in the forest. The staff was very kind, informative and generally helpful. Clean facilities. Bring your own lock for the lockers. I'd definitely stay here again!
