One of the best hostels I've been to. Very pleasant building. Very cheap.
A good place with pretty much atmosphere. In New Orleans, Auberge NOLA is a better choice for the same price. The building is much better.
DC Lofty is like Washington itself: too clean, with too many rules.
I spent nearly 2 months in this hostel. It's really a place for people who want to stay longer. It's not as clean/well equiped as the typical traveller's hostel, but if you stay long enough, there's a great atmosphere between guests and the neighborhood is the best in London. The staff can be rude sometimes, but here again, you discover how cool they are on the longer run. The Internet sucks, which is why everyone ends up in the stairway at reception. Security is very more than poor.
Super cramped dorms with people stying there sleeping all day. Rude staff. You have to pay 1.5£ per day for the lockers. Avoid this place if you can.
One of the worst hostels in London (I've been to approx. 20 different). The dorms are cramped to the point that you can hardly move between the beds at all. Most showers are simply destroyed and the floor in front of the showers is so broken that there are large water pools.
Super deals if you book from HostelWorld. Expect zero atmosphere and a posh neighborhood. Much less cramped dorms than in London hostels in general. There were definitely bed bugs and I'm not the kind of guy who sees bugs everywhere
Cramped dorms. Expect to have to go several times a day to the reception to have your key card remagnetized.
Cramped dorms. Expect to go several times a day to the reception to have your keycard remagnetized. Zero atmosphere other than the pub.
Very cramped dorms. Zero atmosphere other than the pub.
20 persons in the dorm. No common room, so everyone ends up sitting on the floor. Ridiculously tiny lockers. Right on a very noisy crossroads. If you get back in the middle of the night, the staff of the pub does not understand you are part of the hostel and trys to explain you through the windows that the pub is closed. The internet requires that you go through a complicated login procedure every time you restart your computer. The neighborhood sucks. The location is not too bad.
Zéro atmosphere, but some of the best facilities I've seen in a hostel
Excellent hostel. The air con is blowing too directly on the beds though.
OK hostel, but the dorms are too cramped

Good hostel. The breakfast wasn't anything special.
Very basic facilities, very friendly staff
One of the greatest hostels I've stayed at
Clean. Quiet neighborhood. Not as central as it could be. No real common room other than the pub.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Great interior and location. One of the best hostels in London.
Way too small beds. I'm 180 and my feet were touching (flat) the bottom of the bed and my head too! The showers were burning hot and no way to adjust them.
A junkie place in the middle of the junkie area
