Great hostel. Really good atmosphere and the pool is amazing. The new owner and the staff are great, very helpful and a lot of fun. They organized nights out every night we were there. Two full kitchens and just a lot of common area to meet other travelers. The old town is a 20 minutes, and shuttles are available to bus/ferry port and the beach. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. As mentioned in other reviews, hostel is under new ownership and is no longer run by a creepy guy

Hostel is located very far outside the city. The shuttle is good to get in and out but we did wait for 2 hours when we arrived for it to come, apparently it was full already so it never stopped to pick us up/let us know. No common room so difficult to meet other people. Private kitchenettes and bathrooms are in each room, AC keeps the rooms cool. There is no bar (closed last year we were told) and no common room.

We had a very frustrating time at this hostel. We had booked 1 night and when we arrived asked if we could book a 2nd. The woman said there was only 2 beds left but 1 of us could sleep on the floor. We said we'd take it. Another guest arrived so she said she'd do it after she checked him in, she then gave the 2nd guest one of the beds. The next day she said the last bed was given away and we were now all sleeping on the floor.2 ppl never showed up so we slept in those. DidOurLaundryForFree

This hostel definitely has more of a hotel feel as all the rooms are separate with their own kitchen. We were only here for one night but the rooms are very well equipped with their own kitchen, bathrooms and free lockers. However the layout doesn't make it easy to meet other travelers. If you're looking to relax, I'd recommend this hostel.

This was a great hostel. The owner really seems to be making an effort to make this an amazing hostel and he's doing a great job. Two nights there was an all you can eat bbq with beer pong and table tennis tournaments. The bar is a great place to hang out, the rooms are very clean and there's a big kitchen. Have already recommend this place to every traveler when we hear they are heading to Bled.

We love this hostel. Stayed here last summer and it's the only one we came back to. The atmosphere is great and the location is gorgeous. There's no kitchen (just microwave and bbq) but there's a full kitchen at the sister hostel Balmer's. The staff are very helpful and all the activities they organize are really well run. Love coming here, definitely recommend this place. Our favorite hostel.

Youth Hostel Meetingpoint

It's what you would expect out of a Amsterdam hostel. No kitchen, the staff are really just there to check you in and out. No locks on the doors but there are lockers in the room. The bar downstairs is open 24/7 which is good. The rooms can get very hot and stuffy at night. Bathrooms are cleaned fairly often though.

Had a great time at this hostel. The bar downstairs is amazing (take advantage of happy hour). The staff are great, the guy behind the counter knows more about Bruges then you'll learn on the walking tour. Small kitchen but has everything you need (stove top, microwave fridge). Was just a great atmosphere while we were there. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The hostel is located about a 15 minute outside the city center which is were the bus drops you off. It can be very frustrating figuring out how to get around. The owners are very nice but aren't much help in knowing the bus schedules or how to get out to any of the sights. Otherwise a full kitchen (no oven), good clean rooms and good common room. More a chill relaxing vibe, not a party hostel.

Centrally located hostel. Was quiet while we were there so there seemed to be more staff then guests, so they tended to be a little clique. Think it wouldn't have been as noticeable if there were more people there. Otherwise pretty standard hostel, full kitchen, clean rooms.

Great location....very central in the town. Great facilities especially the kitchen and common areas which were both very large and well equipped. No lockers but locks on all the doors. One male staff member (seemed to be the owner) was very rude when we arrived. We knew we were to early for check-in but we just wanted to drop off ours bags and after the girl said it was ok the guy came out and ripped into us about checking in early. Still a good hostel and the other staff were helpful

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, I would like to state both for yourself and other fellow potential guests reading this that I am surprised to hear that one of our staff where not friendly as we are known for our warm and inviting hospitality. We do have a check in time of 2pm and run an extremely tight ship with very little staff so thus yes the pressure may be on at times, We actually offer Free Locker facility’s which are located outside our 8 & 10 bed dorms. Kind Regards PJ Quinlan

We stayed in the off-season so the hostel was very quiet but it gave us a chance to talk to the owner who has recently purchased the hostel. He seems to be taking a lot of pride in the hostel and is sparing no expense in getting new beds and the bathrooms up to date. He was extremely friendly and the bar on the main floor was a good place to start your night. There is no kitchen which was our only issue with the hostel. A few mini fridges in the rooms would be welcome for backpackers.

We loved this hostel. So warm and cozy and such a great atmosphere. Matty is amazing and when a girl accidentally grabbed my jacket and I had to catch a bus he got it back from her and mailed it to me! Couldn't have been happier with this place and would recommend anyone wanting to see the Cliffs of Moher should stay here. Would come back in a second, wouldn't enter my mind to go anywhere else. Thanks!

We stayed here only the one night but really enjoyed it. We checked in and went up to the room and someone had taken one of our beds and the front desk fixed it all right away. Love when hostels have free tea and coffee all day so that was a big plus. A lot of places to hang out and a huge kitchen area. Will definitely go back.

Going to Arnies is like visiting someones house. Great hospitality, we walked in and were immediately offered tea and cookies. The staff were so helpful and really knowledgeable about the area. The atmosphere is so comfy and welcoming. Loved the fireplace in the dining area. Would definitely recommended this hostel, really close to downtown and walking distance to the Titanic exhibit and other big sites. Will go back when we visit Belfast again.

Kinlay house is a good hostel with some good facilities. Huge kitchen and big common rooms. It is kind of annoying when they host big groups of high school students as they tend to completely take over the hostel. But the staff are extremely helpful and the bar next door is amazing. I would recommend Kinlay house to anyone coming to Dublin but be prepared its not a "quiet" hostel theres a lot of people staying there all the time.

We read terrible reviews before we stayed here, but it was the only place with vacancies left in the city so we had no choice. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We really didnt expect much but the hostel was clean, beds were alright and we really didnt have any complaints. We only stayed the one night and there are better hostels in Dublin, but not as bad as what we read.

The owner Anna was unbelievably helpful and understanding during our stay. Due to a cancelled flight we had to change our dates and she figured it all out for us with VERY short notice at no cost. Really went out of her way to make it work and we really appreciated it. B&B was right next to the Vatican which was amazing and a 5 min walk to the subway so it was convenient. There was no kitchen and free tea and coffee all day would be nice. Very clean and comfortable, I would recommend it.

Hostel was in a pretty good location only about a 10min walk from train station. Previous comments had said they had no luggage storage and they must have changed they're policy because we were allowed to leave our bags there all day after we had checked out and use the internet. Definitely more of a hotel feel, not a great place to meet people but very clean and a good kitchen. 2 bathrooms on every floor is nice. The AC works you just have to play around with it and you can get it nice and cool

Great place to meet people. The location is way up a hill but the shuttle every 15min is amazing, we never had to do the walk. Happy hour is really nice at night, and the kitchen is pretty good. Definitely more of a party hostel but a lot of great people wee there. Reception is unbelievably slow, but helpful when you ask them questions. They have someone going around at breakfast to help you with any day trips. Would definitely go back

Hotel Le Rocroy

The hotel is very nice and have pretty large rooms by Paris standards. The beds are so comfortable and the hotel in general is very clean. Staff are very helpful and even called a tourist center for us when we asked how to get to a war memorial site outside of town. Most speak English fairly well, at least enough to get by. Location is a little far away, maybe a half hour walk into the city center. Internet worked well on our floor. We would definitely go back, great hotel

For what you pay for this hostel you dont get much. The restaurant is way over priced and no kitchen. The bathrooms are insanely dirty all the time. When we got to reception the girl didnt think I could understand french and started going off about her night to the guy next to her instead of helping us. When we asked how long of a walk to the the Louvre the reception said 45min, and it really took almost 2 hours. several lockers under the bed were broken and unusable. I wouldnt go back.

We loved this hostel, definitely our favorite we have been to so far. Upon arrival you receive a free bus pass for the city which is amazing. The staff are so helpful and really friendly. Theres a grocery store right across the street, although the only have a microwave and bbq to cook on for pretty obvious reasons (its a tent). There's great activities you can book through the hostel and the view from it is unbelievable. Really easy to meet people here. Already planning on coming back.

We hated this place and would never stay here again. No kitchen, the staff are clueless and rude. When you ask the a question there answer is always "I dont know" and dont offer any help. There was blood on the corner of my mattress. The free wifi never works and they dont care to fix it. It was way to expensive and we got nothing. Its so far away from everything, and just take the Tram from the HBF not S bahn, it stops right outside.

We loved this place. Free muffins at check in, and bbqs every few nights. The staff are very helpful in helping you find your way around in getting to the big sites. The key system is annoying, but its a very relaxing hostel and we ended up staying longer than we first thought. Great kitchen and comfortable beds. The laundry is also super cheap and 1.50 euros. Definitely a great hostel.

I was so happy when I arrived at the hostel and checked in. I don't think the staff could have been any more helpful. We were in a 2 bedroom room which was huge and the kitchen area was absolutely amazing. The best part of the hostel is the staff. We asked them where to buy beers and the girl wrote us down a huge list of her favorites, and local brews we should try. They went out of their way to go over and above what they needed to do. I would definitely recommend this place.
