Periko's Youth Hostel

Bariloche, Argentina

A very busy place, that is made nicely from rooms to kitchen. Doubles are great! Kitchen can get overly busy so that cooking becomes almost impossible. However, that means lots of possibilities to socialise also!

Hostel Mandala

El Bolson, Argentina

VERY nice hostal, however its a far way from the center (don't even think about walking it with your luggage from the bus terminal) which doesn't show so clear on the hostal's page. The house is new and in perfect shape, the kitchen outstanding and the staff very friendly. If you don't mind taking a cab to town and back (cheap, 13 AR$), this is where you want to stay!

Hospedaje Lautaro

El Calafate, Argentina

This is an enjoyable place, with very nice and clean rooms. No kitchen facilities though, jfyi. Gabriela (the owner?) is a fantastic host who deserves all merits! Make sure you go to have dinner at the restaurant she also works at, forgot the name. There, I had one of the best dinners in 3 months Argentina!

Puerto Natales, Chile

Nice place at nice location. Staff is helpful, but not overly motivated. However, a nice place with nice people and good kitchen facilities!
