Stayed in a twin private for 3 nights. Very nice, very quiet hostel. If all you want is to party this is the wrong place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, everything was clean, breakfast was simple but good. Not too far from the Transmilenio bus, good neighbourhood.

Very comfy beds, staff very helpful. The dorm I stayed in the first night was right above the bar, so there is loud music until midnight, or 1am. Was no problem to change to a quiet room in the back for the rest of my stay. Everything really clean and new. Great hot showers. Good location.

Stayed in 10-bed dorm, traveling alone. Had a really nice stay here. Absolutely recommend staying here. Not a party hostel, but usually a nice crowd that sits outside on the balcony chatting and having a beer together.

Stayed here 4 nights in a 5 Bed mixed dorm. Safe, clean, hot showers, basic kitchen. Can recommend this place, eventhough somehow it didn't have much atmosphere and one didn't really connect much with other people. Definitely not a party hostel.

Best hostel I've stayed in for a long time. Our 8-bed room was divided in 2, so it was more a 4-bed room. Amazing kitchen, roof terrace, breakfast with pancakes, nice atmosphere, helpful staff, good location - what else to ask?

Our stay here was absolutely fine. Comfy beds, good night sleep and all. But the place is not half as chic as it would like to be.

City Partner Hotel Frstenhof

Stayed for 2 nights in a double Room, shared bathroom. This hotel is really interesting. In a positive way it looks like time stopped here somewhere around the 50's or 60's. Would be a great place for a haunted-house-movie. It's a little run down, but clean, location is good, our room was huge (ceilings were about 4m high!) and the beds comfortable. Would recommend staying here.

Stayed in a double bed room for four nights. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Located in the upcoming trendy part of town, only short walk to the center. Quiet place to stay - more a hotel than a hostel. Would definetly recommend staying here!

Stayed here as a couple for one night, while spending time in nearby Brugge (very good, cheap and easy train connection). Rooms are simple but clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Not much atmosphere or character though. As with much of the belgium coast the town Blankenberge is very ugly and there is absolutely nothing there this time of year.

Stayed for one night in a double room. Had a nice stay there - good location, friendly staff, cosy beds and good breakfast included! Only annoying thing were loud people in the hall coming home from parties in the night (but at least they didn't party in the hostel ;) )

Don't expect anything fancy. It's really just sleep here and not much else, but if that's fine for you you've got a deal.

I stayed for one night in an 10 bed dorm. Nice hostel with friendly staff. Clean, roomy, Internet, good showers. Walk into town takes a while but there is good, close public transportation. Would stay there again.

I recommend staying here. We were a bit unlucky though, that we had a very noisy room, where we heard all the party people from the hall and the courtyard (way after midnight). The rooftop is amazing.

Roots and Boots Hostel

First off: I'd stay here again. The rooms were fine and the staff helpfull. There is a really nice garden with chairs and tables out in the back whith a bbq one can use (need your own charcole). Breakfast is not included, but they offer coffee and toast for 2 bucks which I can only recommend. The kitchen though was definetly too small for a hostel of this size and very poorly equipped. Also there was quite an amount of mold in one of the showers (all the other showers and rooms were fine).

Really nice and new hostel. The beds are very comfortable and the curtains around every bed are a great idea! Also they just opened a restaurant where they offered buffet lunch for just 5 euros (it was REALLY good!). The only little thing that you guys could improve is to put garbage bins in the rooms.

Recommendation! Stayed in a 10 bed room, which was big and had comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast simple but fine and things generally clean. The rooftop bar is really nice.

This hostel is absolutely fine, if you don't plan on doing anythings else here but sleep and prepare for the day. Beds and showers good and the staff is friendly. Sadly though the kitchen is quite small and there is no such thing as a living or dining room.

First off: I would stay there again. Beds, kitchen, laundry, living room, computers everything fine. Only with the staff (changed every day, never had one person twice in three days) it REALLY depends. Most were friendly and helpfull, but others quite the oposite.

Hostel One Sants

Ok hostel, but there are better ones out there. Has good access to the metro system, but is still kind of far out (walking is possible, but a little far). The rooms were fine, but pretty small (4 bed mixed dorm), so we were pretty crammed in. They do have wifi, but the signal was very poor in my room. Staff was friendly and helpful, but there was some mold in the showers. Kitchen facilities were fine too, but in general the whole hostel just didn't have that great of an atmosphere.

Nice hostel with amazing staff! Really, really helpfull! Free dinner is a really cool thing and much better to meet new people than the regular free breakfast. Location is absoluteley fine with only a short walk into town and good access to the metro. Only thing was though that my room had a glass door to the hallway, where the light was on the whole night (it couldn't be turned off). I think this was the only room that had this problem though. I'd recommend staying in this hostel.

Really great Place! Stayed in their biggest dorm (I think it was 12) which still had a nice atmosphere. Everything seemes new. Really nice building with lounge area, roof terrace, bar, kitchen and lots of great offers (freshly prepared dinner for 5 bucks, flamenco show, pub crawl...). Would absolutely stay there again!

Stayed in a 2-Bed-Room with my Girlfriend. The room was small but nice. Staff was friendly, clean new showers, fast Internet, not too far from downtown (10 minute walk), safe location.
