Homeros Pension

Selcuk, Turkey

My boyfriend and I only had the privelege of staying 1 night here but it was fantastic! The location is perfect walking distance to bars and restaurants and easy to get to Ephesus. We rented bikes from them to go see Ephesus and it was the most fun way to get there! The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds and a hot shower. Breakfast is included, was one of the best we had in Turkey, and was extra nice on Homeros beautiful rooftop terrace! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Cinque Terre, Italy

Great location in Riomaggiore. No views, but a very clean, no frills apartment good for 1-2 nights stay if you're a budget traveler. Very clean and had a nice hot shower. Building is quite and people who own the apartment are very nice, prompt and helpful.

Terrible directions from airport, DO NOT WALK IT. Looks like someone's house in the middle of nowhere. Italian number scrawled on a piece of paper at the entrance to call for check-in, after SEVERAL tries I finally got through but it was late night and I was sketched out & in tears. The girl who finally came was very nice but there are no locks on the doors, no lockers, people in and out all the time. No towels, no breakfast. Big rooms. Good for one nights stay only. Very close to train station.

Jasy Hotel

Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

Excellent, quaint hotel located in a quiet section of Iguazu, but still walking distance to town. I wouldn't even classify this as a hostel- more like a bed n breakfast. The rooms are large and the hotel seemed to cater mostly to couples or families. If you're a couple- book a PRIVATE room, otherwise you could have up to 4 other people staying with you- separated only by a thin sheet and some stairs. The staff is the best part. They go out of their way to help you, arrange tours, or just make sure you'r
