all clean, cosy rooms with nice view, nice location. but it was really cold inside (as in most Portuguese houses in winter time, because there is no central heating, so for this is don't really complain), breakfast lacked some veggi or fruit and the cheese was always finished

duvet covers aren't changed after each guest! and u aren't told that, so u can bring your own, u only observe it at the end(after sharing feet fungi etc...)! room nr2 is the worst room ever! 8people in a very narrow space, no place for luggage, no air, no sun light. plus hearing each time someone flushes the toilet at the floor above (like a small cascade). this room should cost like 3pounds/night, for those who really only need a roof. other rooms inside aren't as bad. good location, nice staff

the place is really nice and the location is great! you can meet people or have your silent moments, if you also need to study or attend workshops etc. but the beds and matresses are a bit old and not so clear

it so happened that i was alone in a 6 bed room - and it was great! but if it would have been a full room, 18 euros/ night would have been a bit too much for those old rusty matresses and the not so many toilets. in rest, great location and great place!

nice room, nice house, food was simple but good, all clean and nice cleaning staff (actually nice staff in general). i've got a good deal so for me it was totally forthit! some things to note for other travelers: not much stuff for cooking your own meals; noisy livingroom from early morning to around midnight (good for socialising, though); no lockers (can use the reception, though)

beautiful location and common areas, probably even better in the warm seasons. good price. friendly and relaxed atmosphere. clean bathrooms. but the bed sheets were not so fresh, as if washed at low temperature (i guess in Germany people don't boil the linen?) and the matresses were quite stained

We were in a 2 bed private room. Very good hostel especially if you also want some privacy. If the price stays the same, I will return for sure! some things to improve: wi-fi was not working properly, I had to stay on the floor near the door (LOL!) and the shower+tap are really strange and do NOT make any water economy, on the contrary!

we were in a 2 bed room with bathroom. in 2011, this place was great, but in 2012 not so much anymore :( Good things: all clean, good bathroom, nice kitchen, nice staff. Bad things: no wi-fi in building (although promissed), very bad matress, very small&ugly room, quite warm in room (although it was September), window towards a wall (good that it had a window, still...), quite noisy (well, it's a hostel...). it was 15-16euro/person, but wouldn't worth more than 10-11 in extra-season/ September!!

A quiet house in a green neighbourhood, but very well connected to the city center. It's perfect for couples looking for a place to relax and to feel cosy. We had a great relaxing time and we will return for sure, if the price stays the same :)

it's a guest house, very silent, very clean, with simple private rooms, all having nice windows or balconies and WIFI. one of the bathrooms was not so great, the shower's temperature was sometimes hard to manage, there was no real kitchen. but it's the best quality/price ballance that we found in Lisbon. we'll return if the price stays the same! i would recommend it to couples that need a simple private room, in a quiet place, just to sleep in - but also to be in a nice, lively neighbourhood!

our room was not a room, but a BOX on the terrace of the hostel. it was very small, surrounded by the other guests using the terrace, full of ants, and very HOT (even in October, at 7pm, when we arrived). so if you are not a friend of air-conditioning, avoid this box (room no. 11)!! except for the terrace, the hostel did not have common rooms nor kitchen. so the price was too high for what was offered! the only really good thing: the staff was very kind and fluent in English.

it's in the city centre, but on a small street, so there is no traffic noise + there are beautiful window views. we took a private room and it was exactly what we needed! we also loved the garden, the living, the kitchen & balconies. definetly we'll visit again!
