Barra Beach Club Oceanfront Hostel

All in all a nice hostel. There were a few things we didnt like though. For example, the bar closes at 11pm and dinner is served until 9pm.. thats not american times! Plus, all the place is very humid and we saw plenty of cockroaches. But its clean in general. The staff didnt propose any group activities, but was very nice.

Balconada Beach Hostel

Excellent, nice spot next to the beach and very spacious and comfortable rooms. The common areas are also nice! Things to improve: wifi, the router needs to be resetted all the time or it wont let you connect. The fridge in the kitchen: it was a mess most of the time. Keep up the good work!

TAS D VIAJE Hostel - Surf Camp - Suites

Overall, a nice hostel. Strategically located, 2 blocks from the beach and one block from Gorlero street. We didnt like the bathrooms, a bit messy, and our 4-bed shared bedroom was really small, id say its for 2 people only.

I only stayed for one night but I had a really good time. The people staying there were so friendly, and so was the staff. They have snorkelling equipment that you can grab for free, which is great. Also, the location is just perfect, right in front of the most popular beach in canarias.

Thanks so much for your positive feedback! Hope to see you longer next time! Its true the beach is literally IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE. Las Canteras Beach is perfect for surfing, diving, beach volleyball, bodyboard, Stand Up Paddle. Our staff or travelleres themselves and they are there for you to make the best of your stay and make you feel like home. Best wishes, Thomas (owner Ventana Azul)

The hostel was fine. Its located right next to the sand of a beach full of boats and the view is great, but it isnt a popular beach during the day. It has a bar thats open most of the time, with restuarant-like prices. Kitchen is slow and super small for the size of the hostel. The atmosphere may be better, its usually too shy and common areas arent as crowded as expected if you are travelling solo. Wifi is bad: it was usually down and you have no signal in the dorms. Tv didnt work.

Its more a pousada than a hostel. Its nice, clean, and its private bedrooms are super comfortable. Its close to the center and the beach (not sooo close, but about 6-7 blocks). Shared spaces arent too crowded. I didnt like that you have to pay to use the pool table. They sell coke, water, sprite, etc, at regular prices, which is great.

I liked pretty much everything of the hostel. Staff, bar, food, péople, everything is great. Bathrooms were clean all the time, and so the pool and the shared areas. The breakfast was ok, quite messy after 9.30am because everyone was rushing to eat at that time. My private bedroom was cool, great spot and view, an quiet at night. What I didnt like was the bar prices. They charged each 350ml beer R$ 6, when you can grab the same one in a market for just R$1.50. And you have to buy it in the bar!
