Fantastic small hotel in perfect location to explore Shibuya. Staff were lovely and the room was quite spacious considering for Tokyo. Bathroom was spotless and wifi was stable and fast. Would recommend

Hotel Casa Rustica

Great location, friendly staff and good wifi. This hostel is genuinely overpriced though. Private room was very small and there are 2 showers that are shared across the whole hostel. No breakfast included. Very basic option considering the price with many other options nearby

Staff were lovely (the young girl in particular was very hospitable), however the location of the hostel is in quite an unsafe area. Fast wifi. Cold showers. Overpriced considering the standard of the room.

El Hostal

Antigua, Guatemala
100%

I have been to almost 100 hostels this year and El Hostal in Antigua has been the best. Lovely and attentive staff. Excellent wifi and location. Rooms were consistently cleaned everyday. Breakfast was the best I have encountered and would cost you a considerable amount at a cafe nearby. Cannot recommend highly enough

Staff are really lovely however the hostel is completely unorganized. Sanitary bins weren't emptied nor was the room (private room for a couple) cleaned in 4 days. No wifi in room. Great location and has potential but not quite there yet.

This is not a hostel. It's more of a motel with bunks in it. Location is average unless you have a car as public transport is non existent. I arrived late from my flight (10pm) and was stuck outside in the rain for 20 mins before I was let in.

Fantastic location. No wifi in rooms. Good spot to explore the city with heaps of eating, markets and stores nearby. Free dinners some nights which were actually quite nice. Staff were lovely too.

Not really a hostel. Just a guy's house with a few bunk beds thrown in. Terrible location and there is no public transport in Dallas so be prepared.

Really overrated hostel. Over regulated. I caught one of the staff members in the dorm shining a torch on people's faces who were asleep in bed at about 3-4am. I asked why the next day only to be told 'to ensure people were getting frisky in the dorm rooms'. Creepy. Would not recommend.

Fantastic hostel. I really like the fact that there is a co-operative with the local Khmer people working there as opposed to backpackers milking a bed. Great restaurant and bar. Safe location within walking distance to most points of interest.

Best location in town directly across the road from the bus port. The pool is a nice touch and the staff are all a good laugh. I would recommend this hostel for your stay in Iguazu.

Walk On The Beach Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
100%

This was the best hostel I have stayed in, not only in Brazil, but South America. Dom (the next big thing in Drum n Bass), Pedro and Barbara were all incredibly helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The hostel itself has lots of character and is a stones throw from Copacabana beach, plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and everything else you may need. I would definitely recommend this hostel for your next stay in Rio.

Casa Divanga

Taganga, Colombia
100%

Out of all the hostels I've stayed at in Colombia, this would be the best purely because of the service. Lucy, the French lady who runs the hostel, is a real sweetheart and goes above and beyond to help with anything you could possibly need. The hostel also has a great vibe and lots of character. I'd definitely recommend it for your stay in Taganga.

El Viajero Cartagena Hostel

I am unsure as to why this hostel has the rating it does. The facilities are minimal at best. There are no hot showers; only 1 tap for cold water. The reception were ok during the day but the young guy who was running it during the evening was quite rude and uninviting. Overall I cant say I'd recommend this hostel.

Milhouse Hipo

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at world over. The staff are great, there's a real social vibe, the bar is the cheap as chips and the location is primo. My only issue was with how hot the rooms got at night, but bar that, Milhouse is where you want to stay if you are in BA to party and meet plenty of awesome people
