Really nice place to stay in La Fortuna! We booked a dorm and was given a double room for no extra charge! Awesome breakfast cooked at the moment! They called the Alamo Office just on the side of the Hostel and had us have a discount from them. Definitely recommended!

El Machico Hostel, Panama City, Panama

Probably not the best hostel in the world... But absolutely deserves 5 stars rating! When you leave you will miss it! Staff is helpful, the owner is a long time traveler and can give you all sorts of information about Panama and Central America! Beds are new and comfortable, AC in the night make you sleep well The only drawback is the breakfast, quite basic and you have to cook pancakes yourself... I absolutely recommend renting a scooter to discover city, canal and surroundings

A good place to stay! We booked for a dorm but for some problems it was full when we arrived so they'll gave us a private for the same price, very fair from them!

Nice and clean. For the price in a dorm I really think you can't ask for more! Egg for breakfast included! The shower was very hot, eventually, but you have to wait some minutes. DO NOT BOOK the tours in the hostel. In the city you pay much less, and you get the same exact tour (we were with people who paid double the price). Don't miss the two days tour in the islands, sleeping in a local community, awesome and very real experience with people who lives there! We paid 75 sol each

Machu Picchu is so expensive...this place is not spectacular but it's worth the money. As many say it is quite dump but you get an electric dehumidifier in the room which is good!

This is a super nice place to stay. The owners let you feel at home, really, and they're so nice! Just 5 minutes walk from the main square, nice little restaurants around. You have to ask for hot water, but really, it takes 3 to 4 minutes to get hot so no complaints about that! Absolutely recommend!

It seems you pay a lot but you get an awesome dune buggy / sand boarding tour. The hostel was clean but inevitably there was sand everywhere including a little on the bed...! The atmosphere is amazing in the little garden with pool where you can eat quite cheap and good food at the hostel bar. Lots of people coming from other hostels to have a drink or breakfast! Definitely the place to stay!

A super nice and very cheap hostel, you don't get breakfast tough, and pay attention cause you can pay a lot in a bar for that!!! Little wood houses, clean and comfortable beds. An overall really nice stay!

You get what you pay for... Not a bad hostel but the double room didn't smell really clean! Really little water but at least hot in the shower. Didn't try breakfast as we left really early in the morning

The hostel is very good! Maybe I won't give the hostel a 96 or 97% like most did for two reasons: - If you get a room on the main street that's sooooo noisy! - Beds are good but sometimes not perfect...cheap wood bunk beds I don't want to be too critic, just the truth! Anyway a very very good hostel, clean, good atmosphere and party, awesome showers and toilets, helpful staff!

Thanks for the review. Well, there are pros and cons of staying in a hostel located on a main street in the city, but I think the fact that you are as close as possible to all the main atractions and parties center in Kraków makes it up and a bit of a noise shouldn't be such a problem. Thanks for all the nice words though. Cheers

I wouldn't give the hostel itself a 98%, I mean, it's reeeeeeally good one, but maybe not the best in the world. BUT, if you add the atmosphere, the staff, the mama's dinners and the PRICE! Than it is a 110% Hostel! Super recommended! Don't miss mama's dinners!

Nice House that took the name from the owners little daughter! Not one of the best hostel but worth the price! Don't take the twin room at the top floor, no windows, impossible to breathe in summer! We asked to change the room and we could do that! All in all the top floor is very hot...but in the night it became acceptable

Nice Hostel, a bit far from the bus station (10/15 minutes walk up and down), all the excursions and buses (of course) leave from the station... Really thin curtains on the window...in the summer you get sunlight in your eyes at 5 in the morning...! Except for that it was really nice.

Really really nice little House. One 4bed dorm and 2 double room in total. Felt at Home. The owners are really nice and can give you good advices to hike in the park! If Laura promises you the breakfast at 6:30 and doesn't come, RING THE BELL, as she told us after we went out to take an early bus STARVING cause she didn't wake up... Anyway, if you get the breakfast, that's amazing! One of the best South America breakfast we had in 1 month!

Very nice place! Quite not so far from the city center, just 10min walk. If you rent a bike (strongly suggested) the city is in your hands! The only drawback on the boat is that the room is very very small for 3 people, you don't even know where to put your 3 backpacks... but unexpectedly for a boat beds are long and very comfortable! Overall a suggested place to stay!
