This is a great secure hostel just a short walk away from the Bund. Large lockers are provided in the rooms. Security card are required to enter the dorm areas and your own room. The restaurant/bar serves great food and the staff were really helpful. Only bad thing was the beds. I don't class a piece of thin foam as a mattress and didn't sleep well either of the nights I was there.

This hotel was cute and kitsch, but was a long walk away from the gardens and canals. The staff seemed short in replies and charged us 10 yuan deposit for a map of the city as they only had one. Our private room seemed pleasant however in the evening tiny bugs started appearing from under the bed and on the walls. We were bitten a lot during the night. Likewise in the common areas there were a lot of bugs due to the open space and muggy weather.

We booked a private room here and it was more like a hotel than a hostel. Great value for money. The food served in the hostel was great, and the staff were very helpful even when there was a mistake with our booking. You can leave your bags here during the day and they allowed us to check in early. Tip: make your own way to the terracotta warriors. The hostel tour is overpriced as you can take a regular tourist bus straight there from the train station for just 7 yuan.

To be honest, you found most of the advantages of the hostel, such as the good room, the food, the staff, and the free luggage and so on. So smart you are and such beautiful words you feedback. Thank you so much, we will continue to keep and be better. And for the terre cotta tour, We are so happy to receive your suggestions, if you would like, please mail us, we will try our best to improve. Thank you. We are waiting for you.

The hostel was in a great location with easy access to the central sights. The food served in the bar was ok but the breakfasts were tiny for the amount you were paying. The staff were kind and helpful, and the atmosphere in the bar at night was great. There were no lockers in our room and the AC didn't really do anything so it was really hot at night.

The Mad Monkey

This is a well designed hostel, big beds, ensuite in room, access to tour packages, computers, bar and restaurant. Tuk tuk drivers are always available outside, and the hostel has very ethical backgrounds. I didn't like the area, and felt like the restaurant was a little overpriced and could do with being bigger, it got very full at peak times. Also, the staff seemed quite dismissive and blunt at times seeming to be more involved in their personal conversations than guest's needs.

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights and tried to stay longer but they didn't have any room! The lady working here is lovely, and such a pleasure to talk to. She offered us breakfast when we arrived from our early flight, and allowed us to keep our bags there while we went on a tour. Perfectly located in the backpacker area, the rooms are a good size and equipped with all the basics you need. I wouldn't hesitate booking here if I return to Saigon!

Amazing hostel. Great atmoshphere and events. Free breakfast options included. Cheap drinks. Trips are overpriced and can be found for the same quality elsewhere. Staff are excellent and always there to help you. Came back and booked more time here after my initial booking.

We travelled in a large group, so it suited us well as we weren't there for much time. Had we been we woud have found it difficult as there is only one toilet/shower per floor. Good facilities downstairs. Locker and towel provided free of charge.

I just needed somewhere to crash for the night before an early flight and this was the perfect place. Easy to find and located a 5 minute walk from the subway station/arex line. You do have to pay 2000 won for key and towel deposit, which I was told I would get back at check out, but as I left before reception hours started this was not the case. Quite bright in the dorms due to windows from the hallway, and noisy because they were doing some work. But it was quite clean regardless.

Hello Guesthouse

The hostel was very clean, and had everything we needed. Rooms were big enough, and there was a lot of common room area available. Free breakfast in the morning, and 24 hour access to the hostel. There are two large shower rooms, with hairdryers, straighteners etc. We stayed when the hostel was fully booked, but there wasn't a problem with the showers or kitchen being too busy. Despite being full and in a busy area, the hostel was quiet. Staff were very welcoming and friendly!

This is easily one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. It is newly built, so everything is clean and fresh. The beds and rooms are spacious/comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and have enough room for 6 people to get ready easily. Showers are hot.. Breakfast is free. Free lockers. Upstairs there is an amazing roof terrace and common room. The hostel staff are so friendly, and more than willing to help you with anything you need. We will definitely stay here every time we revisit Busan.

The hostel is well located in the Hongdae area, and easy to find. There are shops nearby and plenty of cafes/restaurants. Subway is a 5 minute walk away. The hostel has a homely feel, and good spaces allocated for socialising. Kitchen has everything you need. The staff are extremely friendly, we got there late at 1am and they let us stay there without checking in/paying for our booking until the morning. Only downside was the bathrooms. There are only two for the whole house, so expect a wait!

Really quirky hostel, lots of unique features which made my stay more enjoyable. Beds were comfy and private, bathrooms less so. Free wifi and use of computers/books. Cafe downstairs was a cool place to hang out and they had live music one night. Free luggage storage, and really helpful/friendly staff.

Perfect location, and very helpful staff. Luggage storage, and common area with kitchen and supplies available. Plenty of showers and toilets for everyone. Very clean hostel. Dorm rooms were a bit sparse and problems with the temperature - either very cold or very hot.

Amazing hostel! One of the best I've ever stayed in. Quirky, stylish, clean, and modern. Staff were beyond helpful. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Comfy beds, and enough privacy. Free lockers available for use. Discount on coffee at the bar. Bar open until midnight. Common room upstairs for own use with kitchen, and laptops. Free wifi. Free luggage storage. Would definitely stay there on my next trip to Tokyo
