The Adventure Brew Hostel was a good value for money hostel with a fun backpacker vibe. The biggest drawback of this hostel is the amount of stairs in the building which are a killer when you arrive in La Paz and get hit with altitude sickness. Aside from that, the atmosphere is really quite good, with a functioning bar / restaurant that is very affordable. The Hostel is also served by a on site travel agent that was very handy for organising out of La paz tourist trips.
La Casona was one of the best hostels we stayed at in South America. Great facilities and friendly staff made the stay really enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again. The only let down was an average breakfast that could have easily been better with a little more thought.
Convenient location for this hostel, but like everything else in Rio, it was very expensive.
This hostel was very difficult to find and was not sign posted on the street at all. The taxi driver had to drive back and forth several times before we finally found the hostel. For a hostel that exists primarily for tourists travelling to Iguassu falls where tourists are guaranteed to get drenched, there were absolutely no drying facilities. This made our trip to this hostel quite unpleasureable.
Standard hostel in Sao Paulo with some very friendly and helpful staff. Sao Paulo is a very big sprawling city and Caju hostel's staff greatly helped us aclimatise and make sense of our surroundings.
Not a bad hostel, but not amazing either. Conveniently located in the San Telmo area, it was easy to get around. There were lots of activities planned everyday including a rooftop BBQ. The breakfast was on the average side
