Grand hostel LerO

Loved this place. Bbq is a beast and is amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, all happy to help with anything. LerO himself was amazingly helpful and the finishing touches were just being made to the back garden area, itll be superb. Will be back for sure.

Nothing was too much trouble.. Fantastic hostess. Guests get a discount at a great restaurant in the central square of hvar, we used it twice! Great ensuite as well. Room stayed so cool we didnt even use the air con.

10 pound deposit to borrow even a spoon. kitchen is absolutely disgusting with years of grease and grime. beds are five foot long. wifi costs but in a few rooms you can steal the pub next doors wifi. you have to use a key to lock your door when you leave. Stil sticking with £10 deposit even tho most hostels have moved on from that scam. I mean to cut a key costs £1 but lose theirs and you pay ten times that?

The showers are the worst of any hostel ive ever stayed in. Prison movies look like nicer places. And they are in the basement no matter which floor you are in. Nowhere to really hang your clothes that will stay dry. The common room is a good place to meet people. Wifi available in your room is nice. breakfast is standard toast anbd cereal. So a lot of good points all let down by horrible horrible showers. Even though i met some cool people and had some fun here, i wouldnt stay here again.

the beds are very small and its a very thin duvet whihc they dont give you a cover for so youre basically sharing your blankets with past guests. they give you a new sheet but not the blanket so you just try and make sure you always have this sheet between you and it. Water in the shower goes trhough extreme temp changes every minute. ive used quite a few strange showers in my time and usually you can find a trick but this one i couldnt get a nice shower out of. very cramped room. no lockers.

Great place if you plan on drinking every night and eating out every night as they have a fantastic gastro bar as part of the hostel but this means no common area other then in the bar and no kitchen. Internet doesnt work in the rooms, you have to sit on the staircase for it. breakfast is nice. Really clean place. little light and plug for every bed which is a nice touch
