Were put off by one of the staff for berating me and another guest for accidentally falling asleep (while sitting up) on the couches for a couple of minutes. "Not allowed to sleep in the public area, rules are rules!". Then a few hours later I couldn't but notice his girlfriend was sleeping (with a blanket) on the couch. Showers are far from desirable.

The husband/wife owners of this pension were wonderful - offering tea to whoever walked through the door. For the cost, it's great value for money (especially with the AC).

I should have listened to the other reviews. The reception is often empty. Nearly all the lockers in the dorms are broken. The only common area is on the roof. There is no kitchen. Just a very anonymous feel. If they fixed the lockers, I think for the price, the hostel would be very good just to visit Cordoba for a day or two, provided you don't want to really meet anybody.

It was a good a stay. The staff, Luis and Laia (spelling?) were very helpful. The nearness to the metro stop makes it easy to get around Barcelona.
