Great location near the central shopping district and within walking distance to the airport bus and train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke some English. Our room looked newly renovated, and we had a nice balcony (shared with the next room, so not the most secure). The wifi was patchy in our room, and there was no air conditioning, so it was a little stuffy, but I consider it great value for money in an excellent location just a couple of blocks from the beach in Nice.
Great location. No WiFi in the room was a pain as all communal spaces were pretty crossed and noisy, but facilities were great.
This did not feel like a very welcoming hostel. The staff were efficient to check us in but did not show or explain any facilities. We were on the top floor and there was no female bathroom. Men's bathroom flooded when using the shower. Shower rooms not very clean. Kitchen area very large but we didn't see anyone using them. Had to walk through smoking area to our room so all our stuff was smelly. The hostel is in a quieter area of the city with a nice walking area nearby.
Friendly staff and a fun pub. Great location in the centre of the city. Live music in the pub and decent food. Not good for self catering. Our room was huge with funky paintings on the wall. Even though above the pub, our room was quiet. The wifi only worked in the bar downstairs, not in our room. There was parking a short walk away.
Loved this hostel. Easy walking distance to pubs for food and traditional live music, very secure and clean and the owner is lovely. There are only very small shops in town so better to get groceries before you arrive if self-catering. Hostel kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of car parking. Recommend spending at least 2 days to see a few of the spectacular sights in this area.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. This is a smaller, homey hostel near the main street so it's an easy walk to pubs, sight seeing etc. Kitchen and commonroom were great. Our room (private double) was clean and comfortable. Street parking was available close by.
Hostel is located very near Temple Bar so lots of nightlife and also a short walk to shopping district and many historical sites. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and kitchen / common room area was very good. Our bed was very uncomfortable - lots of broken springs and our shower didn't get very hot, but the room was very clean and the WiFi was good. The laundry service was quick. The car park is close by, but the hostel owner has to access the security code for you so not very convenient.
This hostel is a little out of the way, compared to others in the Asakusa area, but it's within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants and a subway station. Wifi was very slow but there were computers to use if you aren't travelling with your own laptop. Staff were friendly and hostel offers good amenities and facilities.
The walls are thin, so this is a noisy hostel. Included breakfast was great, but pay showers not so great. Excellent location very close to the train station and China town. Our room had a fridge, which was very handy.
Fantastic traditional house made into a hostel - we had a wonderful experience here. The bus is the best way to get to the hostel from the train station - it's a long walk with your luggage, but the hostel is in a great location - lots of restaurants, cafes and bars etc are close. Staff were wonderful.
Friendly english-speaking staff. Our room was very large and the hostel has excellent facilities. We really enjoyed our stay at Hana Hostel. Wish we had known about the J-Hoppers before we arrived. We would have booked more J-Hopper hostels.
