One of the best hostel I've stayed at. Airy and large rooms, very nice common areas, terrific location, good facilities; I would definitely go back there again.
I had a good time at the hostel. Basically all guests are foreigners, so it's not a good place to meet Japanese people, but staff speaks execellent English on the other hand. The fact that you have to pay for a shower is quite unique and irritating though
Check-in took ages, but the hostel is really good. A bit far from the inner city but in a beautiful location nevertheless, it is the kind of big hostel with lots of facilities, lots of people. Maybe not too cozy, but rooms are big and airy, common areas are good. Would go back there again.
For sure the smallest hostel room I've ever been into! Barely enough space to move around. The only common space is the pub downstairs, which can be fun but which is no hostel at all.
Had a very pleasant stay at Kirkwal hostel. To enjoy the view on the countryside and seaside when you walk out the hostel in the morning is a great way to start the day. And staff is just amazingly kind and nice!

The hostel is very nice, clean and new. It is pretty small so it is quiet and kind of cozy, and on the ground floor there is a real pub. Rooms are pretty and well-furnished. The only weird point was that in the morning the door for breakfast was shut and no one was around, so I coul not profit of the breakfast. Anyway I would definitely go back there and recommend the place to those who are looking for a cheap, quiet and well-located place to stay.
Feels more like a shared flat than a hostel, the thing has positive and negative aspects. Overall a very good stay though, the place is new, cheap, quite clean and superbly located.

Nice and quiet place, well located, with a very hospitable talkative and helpful guy managing it. Would go back there
Overall an average place, though probably good for Dubrovnik standards in terms of quality and price. Quite close to the bus station and with a bus running to downtown. One of the owner speaks excellent English and provides many useful suggestions and tips to best enjoy the town, plus she is very welcoming and available.

definitely a very good hostel, new and clean and very lively (even too much if you are just looking for some rest..). I very appreciated how they cared about all those small details that make a difference, in the common areas as well as in the bunk beds structure
one of the best hostels I've stayed in, I would definitely recommend it!
location is the only very good aspect of the hostel. everything else is OK but definitely not amazing, rooms and bathrooms are pretty old, common areas are very small.
the hostel is not too bad, probably for NYC standards is good. it's clean and conveniently located, but nothing more. common areas are ok but definitely not amazing, rooms are quite small, everything is a little old, heating was working so much (and couldn't be lowered) that we had to sleep with the windows open in february, which is totally nonsense and against environment.
