Decent hostel, a few too many mosquitoes but I guess that is more to do with the area. Some more fly screens would be good.

Friendly staff and good hostel.
Great location and spacious rooms with bathrooms. I was a little put off when I arrived as the hostel is SOOO big but although it means it is not quite as homely as other hostels its still good. Other hostels maybe in the "centre" or old town but I think this location is better, right by an area of less touristy restaurants and bars.
If every hostel in Europe was this good, wow what an even more amazing place it would be! I have been travelling across Europe for 4 weeks now and stayed in over 10 hostels and this one is the best. Great staff, wifi, location, aircon... The directions when choosing the hostel put me off a little as it makes it sound very hard to find but providing you follow the directions and use your eyes it is pretty easy.
Good location in a nice little town. Easy to find from the motorway. Beach is short walk away and there are quite a few restaurants, some with English meuns. I stayed here whilst driving from Tukey to Bucharest and was perfect stop off.
Thessa is a great city and hostel is good place to chill out. The walk to town from hostel is worth doing just to see Greek life going on.
Cabins are good and its a 20 min walk to the edge of town, prob another 15mins to bus & train station. A nice walk apart from some of it is without pavement altho this is normal for the area, just beware and be careful. Campsite restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Swimming pool nice. Breakfast was good also. The campsite is easy to find and well signposted. The line A bus is ok altho does not always run to time so you could end up waiting a bit.
Very relaxed stay. A 5-min walk from city walls from where its another 15mins to Il Campo. Would def stay here again if i were in Siena.
Good hostel, good location and good lockers, really big. The area outside is a warren of streets but directions to hostel are good. Bed was modern and comfy and room good size for 5 peeps.
Clean, friendly, efficient. A relaxed 20 min walk to main part of tow n was a really bonus. Security was good although no lockers in rooms, I always like a locker!
Hostel in good location. Hostel bar is lively but modern hostel means no noise from bar made it to my room. Good connections with public transport and good directions on hostel website. Hostel room was good, with high ceilings and big windows. Only slight negative was lockers in rooms were not very strong, flexible metal door means its possible to put your hand inside even if padlocked however they do have a free safe. Modern keycard system into stairwell and room door were good tho.
All staff were very friendly and helpful tips on Rome. Had some nice meals in the area around hostel.
Fine hotel, but due to location would only stay here if you have a vehicle. Nearest place to eat is at least 10mins by car.
Located to the south of town centre,. There are some places to eat nearby and the staff were very friendly. Free WIFI too. Would probably only stay there if you have your own vehicle.
Could do with a blind for skylight in dorm room 5.
This is a BIG hostel. Had a good time. Word of advice, when you arrive with luggage take the lift, there are more stairs than you realise!
Really like Dingle and area around. This is a well located hostel.
Great location. in the centre of the main town with great view over the bay plus approx 10min walk from where the bus from rio drops off. Hostel was very nice to, very chilled.
Location is a bit more than 150m i would say but its a flat walk, which there are not a lot of in Ouro Preto so its a relaxed and easy walk to the centre. Taxis - i asked hostel to call one at 2105 for my 2200 bus, and it did not arrive until 2140, even tho the hostel man rang up and chased it a couple of times. Then the taxi had no meter and he said it would be 15reais which i had to take as otherwise i would miss my bus. so watch out for the taxis.
Really good hostel, on the edge of pedestrian zone. Friendly staff and the pool is the perfect answer on a hot day to cool off. Breakfast is good, great eggs, and breakfast finishes at midday which is great if you have had a late night.
Really fun hostel, good live bands at weekends and always a good group of locals coming by for a drink to chat to and learn some more about Brasil. Def would suggest paying extra for the smaller dorm, its further back so you do not hear the music from the band if you are going to bed a bit earlier. Staff are really helpful and very friendly and speak lots of english, so no problem getting understood. Would def recommend Vila Madalena, great selection of restaurants and bars.
