We travelled off season so that should account for the lack of atmosphere. There was also a guy staying in our room who had horrific body odour so we couldn't sleep and that definitely contributed to the negative experience we had. There is nothing majorly wrong with this place but still I wouldn't recommend the it. I didn't like the vibe.

Very cheap, comfortable and fun. I would highly recommend it!

The place is cold and empty and lacking personality. It looks like a hospital and there is one shower for 8 people. When we arrived they informed us that we had to pay an extra 20% tax, that breakfast wasn't included and even though we made a booking online they put us in two separate rooms. The girl at the desk was unfriendly. I have no idea how this hostel has a 91% rating, I was really disappointed.

This is my favourite hostel of the trip so far. It's in a nice location only a 15-20 minute walk from the centre, the beds are comfortable and the place has a cool common room with plenty of character. The staff are extremely nice and helpful and each of the four staff members I dealt with went out of there way to help me find a place to stay when everything in sapporo was booked out. I highly recommend this place!

Mixed feelings about this place, on the one hand, the location was beautiful (despite being a good 20 minute uphill walk from the nearest bus) and the staff were nice and friendly, but the beds were rock hard, the staff didn't speak English and couldn't really help with planning, there is no reception desk and there are two dogs that bark hysterically at you every time you walk in. Having said this I think things would have been a lot different if I spoke Korean.
Hello. Sorry for the inconvenience you had in our guest house. I, the staff who speaks English was terribly ill at that time. So sorry but couldn't help you. And the two dogs are now in the back yard. They don't bark anymore cuz they can't see people walk around. For that, we needed some operation so it took some time. Hope you can come again and enjoy our house next time. Thank you.

Right next to the bus top that takes you most places around the island, generally nice place and although the staff didn't really speak English they were nice and helpful

Only stayed one night but it was good value and had a really good atmosphere. Sleeping facilities were basic enough but to be expected for the price. I'd definitely recommend it

Great spot, great atmosphere, very original. Transport for the day is an extra 5 euro so all in all great value.

On the plus side - great location, great views, nice breakfast. On the down side - the most impolite, unpleasant staff imaginable, the rom was a cramped attic fit for rats and a 1.50 city tax was added on for each night. I would not recommend this place

A massive, well-equipped appartment, with a jacuzzi right in the city centre and not too far from the train station. The staff were incredibly helpful and even did all of our washing free of charge. Incredible value for money - I bought sandwiches in Norway for the same price. I have been recommending this place to every traveller we've met.

lacking any real atmosphere, no kitchen and not within walking distance fo the city centre. The rooms, expecially the shower was very dirty. Nothing majorly wrong with it but if I was going back to Vienna I would spend another 4 euro a night on something better

Perfect location next to the Vondelpark and leidesplein. The hostel itself wasn't anything special but it's good value for the location.

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but it's a B&B for the price of a hostel. Large rooms, Kitchen and a charming sitting room with a view over the sea. Incredible value for money, authentic and we were made to feel at home. I would highly recommend it for couples or groups but not lone travellers.

Staff very helpful and laid back, great location, the place oozes character. The rooms are a bit small but that wasn't a problem. The general atmosphere was disappointing but that could be put down to the time of the year

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are cramped. Wifi is only available until 18h. The staff are generally rude and unhelpful and i
