Outside of Yangshou, but a very pleasant bike ride along the river to the crazy, fun, and nice part of downtown. The rest of yangshou is pretty awful, so this is a nice refuge. Rent a bike and take their little tour through the villages to get to the dragon bridge. but don't go to the dragon bridge itself (super touristy!), go to the one just upstream and have a swim! (be careful for the tide though!!)

They were very helpful, although the language barrier was sometimes an issue. Nice peaceful courtyard. Much of the old city was burnt down, but they were rebuilding very fast and it's hard to tell the old from the new.

They just need a bit better signage from the street, and better lighting in the dorms and this place e would get 100% rating.
Thank you stay GreenForest, because of our limitations, we can only do this kind of signs, we are trying to establish a large roadside billboard, so guests can easily find us.Welcome again

Very close to subway and shopping. Ok bathroom facilities. Nice roof top porch area.

This was a rather horrible experience for us. After coming in from a 5 hour drive, we needed a welcoming place to rest. Instead after struggling to find the place, we were greeted but a shady looking joint with 4-5 young, rather gangsta'-esque (at least to my American eyes), young men running a haphazard operation. We stayed the cold night, but cancelled our second day's reservation and went to the Mercure Hotel. The extra $25 per night was so, so worth it!
