Great hostel to stay in, staff were amazingly helpful and very friendly. Clean, with a great bar and chill out area and nice rooms. Only drawback is were the location as it is about a 20minute walk from town. this didn't bother us though as it was a nice walk down the beach. Kitchen was quite small too. otherwise, highly recommend. would definately stay again!

The White Rabbit Hostel

No kitchen is a bit of a draw back, but have found most of the island hostels don't have one. Facilities great and very helpful staff. Only negative was our room was right next to the common room so when people came home from a night out they were very noisy. More of an issue with them not following the rules than the hostel though. Highly recommended.

Owner can be very temperamental but we didn't have any serious issues whilst there. DO NOT STAY IN THE 12 bed dorm, it smells musty and the sheets are damp. The 4 bed was fine although the mattresses have seen better days, springs poking thru everywhere. We met some amazing people there, good location, good kitchen facilities.

San Sebastian Surf Camp

Run by Stoke Travel - if you are looking for a party this is definitely the place for you. 10minute walk from a great surf beach - obviously you sleep in tents but the shower and toilet block is usually clean. Staff are unbelievably amazing, you will make some awesome friends. You will feel like you're back on school camp again. And who can pass up unlimited beer and sangria for 5 euro??

Great location very close to the station, excellent facilities free breakfast and a kitchen though its quite small, can only have 1 person cooking at a time. pretty quiet hostel although its linked to another hostel just around the corner that has its own bar and is more of a party hostel which is good for meeting people. Really cheap which was fantastic, highly recommended

One of my favorite hostels in Europe, great atmosphere, extremely good location right near the station. Great for meeting people the common area is huge and theres a bar where everyone drinks and hangs out. Made some amazing friends here, staff very helpful plus free nights to nightclubs and lots of tours if thats your thing.

Funny Palace Hostel

Bit of a let down considering this hostel has won awards. There's no common room, there's no kitchen. Quite hard to meet people unless you leave your dorm room door open all the time. Very clean, the rooms get remade every day which was nice, our shower was atrocious but I think some of the others were ok. If you want a quiet place to relax after a long day this was a nice hostel, but if you want to party definitely don't stay here. Also the wifi stopped working the 2nd day in and wasnt fixed

Good location right near piazza dante and the train station, supermarket and restaurants and shopping street very close. Free breakfast of bread and fruit etc in the mornings, beds were comfortable and the shower facilities were good. Free wifi and a laptop if you need it. Atmosphere wasn't that great, there were quite a few older people there so if you want a party vibe I wouldn't stay here. But good place to base yourself, full kitchen facilities which was great.

Far Out Beach Club

Ios, Greece
100%

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, located right on the main beach where everyone hangs out during the day. You can laze by the pool, the food is great at the restaurant although a little pricier than further down the road. Staff were great, rooms were great even the cheap bungalows - except the beds were extremely hard in the bungalows. The hotel type rooms are amazing. Can't talk highly enough of this hostel, perfect place to meet people

Paraga Beach Hostel

Mykonos, Greece
80%

Good location, away from the main party beach so you can actually sleep if you want to but only 5 minute walk to the clubs and restaurants. Bungalows are very basic, concrete floor which was quite dirty but you pay for what you get. Was only 8 euro a night when I was there so can't really complain. Shower facilities were fine, water pressure etc ok. Easy to meet people as there's a big common area where people drink at night. Kitchen wasn't open when we were there though.

Great location right near the train station and only a 2 min walk to the acropolis. Rooftop bar is great to meet people, we were there for Greek Easter so there was a big day party on the roof. Hostel has a bar a few blocks walk away which does good food, lockers in the dorm rooms, beds were comfy. Was a little bit pricier than some other hostels in Athens and Greece but well worth the money

Bit of a hike from the train station, definitely need a map to get there. Staff were amazing, very friendly, owner oftens cooks for the guests for Y300 for dinner and you get to socialise with everyone which is fantastic. Also heaps of brochures on what to do around Okinawa. Wifi downstairs, very clean good facilities.

Hostel a bit far away from the station - make sure you take a map to follow and you'll be fine. No elevator so it can be a bit hard to get your bags upstairs if they're heavy! Computer use for free and wifi which is great, again annoying to go 2 levels now and back up if you need to ask the staff something. Very clean, lockers provided.

Great hostel, good location close to Mt Fuji 5 lakes and close to the cable car. 15 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station which was fantastic. Staff very friendly gave discount vouchers to the main attractions. Pretty quiet while I was there though, not much happening social wise but it is possible to meet people. possibly because I went out of climbing season. Very clean and excellent facilities

Great little hostel, only 1min from asakusa station and 5min walk to sensoji temple. Typical dorm rooms with bunk beds, clean bedding and very clean hostel. Living area is a little small but I still managed to meet a couple of people there. Also mainly Japanese tourists staying while I was there. Overall a great hostel definitely recommended great location and staff were excellent. One lady even rang 2 hostels and booked them for me on the ogasawara islands which was fantastic!
