Ten minute walk from the centre, but its a nice walk. All the facilities you need to have a nice and cheap trip (good kitchen space, chillout areas etc.) - only downside was lack of any lockable storage space in the room we were in (4 person dorm). Otherwise, excellent way to stay in Stellenbosch on a budget.

Spent two weeks here while studying up at the hospital - great place to live out of. Good cooking facilities, really nice outdoor space (occasional braais), really helpful staff. Easy to get one of the minibuses from up the road straight into town at very little cost, and Lower Main Road itself is full of nice places to eat (and vintage shops). Great little bakery just next door too - recommend the cookie cheese cake and the breakfast offer. Thank you!

We booked in here for its proximity to the airport links at the end of our trip, but wish we'd stayed here for all our time in Bangkok. Really friendly, great atmosphere and a great way to end our time in south east asia. Next to a great food market, and just enough off the main roads to get a feel for more residential areas of Bangkok.

Got mixed up with the other downtown hostels of the same name when we booked, which did look more fun, but still, decent facilities and perfectly good place to stay in Hanoi. Air con doesn't come on until 11 pm, which was a bit annoying.

Loved it. The free breakfast is out of this world (it pretty much served as lunch as well), and then you can't get much more reasonably priced food than what is available in the restaurant. Pool, great atmosphere, slightly out of the centre, but all the closer to the beach as a result, with lots of places happy to rent you bikes for a dollar a day on the doorstep. They also sorted all of our night train bookings for the next leg of the journey. Thank you Sunflower!

Only one night as we passed through Ho Chi Minh, but lovely room, really friendly staff and great location right in the middle of town, but slightly away from the hustle of the main streets. Staff were really accommodating about us sticking around until late for our night train, despite checking out at 11am. Definitely recommend.

No complaints at all. Food - Delicious (western and Khmer options delicious). Bar - views, very very cheap beer, themed nights every night (we were there for ladies' night - 2 for 1 on cocktails only for the girls. Win.). Happy to advise and help with your plans around the city, and incredibly friendly crowd staying there. A tear was shed at leaving. Thank you Mad Monkey!

Great place to explore Siem Reap from. The pool was a godsend after days out at the temples, the food was delicious and Mark and his staff will help you with pretty much any trip you want to get involved with (we booked an apsara show plus all you could eat buffet dinner, and our bus on to Phnom Penh for $20, with all our pick ups straight from the hostel). Private room was gorgeous, and the dorm was great (some aircon issues throughout the night). Definitely the place to stay in Siem Reap.

The 'Circus school' is still very much in development, with pool and most circus related facilities as yet out of action. The wash facilities are basic (bring toilet paper), and it is a little out of the centre of Pai. That said, the staff are fantastic, providing home cooked food all day, the prices are as kind as you'll get, the private rooms (bamboo rooms on stilts) are loads of fun, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Wonderful place to chill out in Pai, with fantastic views (and cute dogs).

Lovely place with a great communcal area, and very happy to help you book all and any tours/experiences you want. Even to the point of taking you to your bus away. Free toast constantly and perfectly good facilities. Recommend to a friend.

Lovely to come back in to after a hot, confused and extremely sweaty day in Bangkok. Recommend to anyone who doesn't have their heart set on living in the city centre.

Great base from which to explore a hectic city. Free noodles, majestic aircon, friendly staff and guests. Only slight issue was being in a windowless room. This, plus jetlag, meant some unintentional all day lie ins. On the whole, definitely recommend.

Stayed in a tent and really impressed with the value for money. Bar was good, pool lovely, tents perfectly usable (and a lot better than I'd expected when I'd booked) and good toilet/shower/laundry facilities available. Would recommend not using the shuttle into Venice. Much cheaper and as easy to walk to the local bus stop. Only a ten minute walk there, and takes you straight to Piazzale Roma which the shuttle doesn't (taking you only to Tronchetta, you need another ticket for people mover).

We arrived after a hellish night train, exhausted and pretty ill. Arrived at Lero's in the morning before check in, were sat down, fed complimentary lunches, and when we were heard coughing, hot tea with honey was produced. Lero and Co quite simply can't do enough for you, and the beds were really comfy (also the first bath I've had in a hostel during the entire interrail trip). Slightly out of the centre, but this shouldn't impact a decision not to stay here. Absolutely recomment it.

Very easy to get to nearest metro stop, helpful staff and comfy rooms. Doors don't lock, but you have lockers for your valuables etc. For the price you pay, it is extremely good value. Definitely recommend.

Very easy to get to from the station/centre. Very accommodating friendly staff, and very sociable atmosphere. Guitars and pianos for guests just to play when they like, and the breakfast was lovely (more so for being able to eat it in a lovely little outdoor section with giant chess sets). Comfy and clean.

Excellent hostel. Will be top of my list if, as I hope to, I come back to Vienna any time soon.

A little out of the centre, but excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone wanting to travel on a budget and still to meet fun people. The bar is very cheap and full of travelers. Dorms are all you need them to be.

As soon as we arrived, shown the entire hostel layout by very friendly woman, accompanied by loads of tips/maps of the city. Big rooms, big lockers, comfy beds, nice common area, really nice place. Incredible price for what you're getting.

Really friendly staff and good discounts at the bar. Can't say that all of us remember the entire stay, but we hear we all had fun.

If you want a hostel near the station, in the centre of Amsterdam, and you want it cheap, this covers all those bases, and to top it off, is a pretty reasonable place to stay.
