Hostel Nocturno

Sipanska Luka, Croatia

Lovely place to stay and lovely family- very welcoming. Comfortable beds and lockers in each room. Big terrace to relax on and very well equipped kitchen. Right in town. Go to sipan for peace and quiet. Lovely quiet little beach and fantastic walk up to a panoramic view of all the islands. We stayed for 2 nights but wish we stayed longer! Very easy to get to from Sudarad. Thank you for having us!

Onda Road

Praia a Mare, Italy

Onda road is 25 minute walk from town with no other shops near by. The hostel does a deal with a beach bar 10 minutes away for a bed for €1 which is good! The kitchen is tiny- very hard for more than 1 person to cook at a time. The host is a little hot and cold- very friendly but can be a little unprofessional at times. The key to the front door is left in the door, no lockers- dreadful security. Great boat tour with hosts dad. Poor breakfast- pancakes shouldn't be stone cold every day.

key to the front door is left always in the lock it's actually the sign that THIS PLACE IS THE SAFEST ON THE PLANET, in fact no one ever complainted about missing a single item, even with no lockers!! anyway if you felt unsafe you could have ask for us to keep your stuff in the safe (free). first time EVER IN MY LIFE that i hear PANCAKES ARE POOR BREAKFAST!:) we served you breakfast every day even after breakfast time (until 10 am), sorry if we waited for u and gave u not hot pancakes

Macro was very welcoming and helpful. As soon as we arrived he annotated a map for us and told us where to go and what to see. The hostel is small and very friendly, 30 seconds from the train station and a 15 min walk from the colesseum. Breakfast at bar fondu was lovely- the best cappuccino I've had. Definitely stay here if you can. The room we stayed in was comfortable and spacious. Loved this place.

Had a lovely stay here! Whilst its not in the centre of Piran its only a 15 minute walk away at most and has fantastic views along the way. The lovely rooms, ample facilities and fantastic staff make the short walk worth it. There is a well stocked supermarket just around the corner. Stay here instead of in central piran! (Also really close to Portoroz). Fantastic hostel, highly recommend this place.

The only downside is the distance but this was fine for us, only a 20 minute walk into town and a 5-10 minute cycle if you bike in (they rent bikes for €5 a day-well worth it). Really clean rooms and kitchen area, lots of storage space and the staff are really really helpful, sent us on nice walks and advised us about the rest of our trip in Slovenia. Great hostel.
