Funny Palace Hostel

I stayed in the superior 4 bed mixed dorm. The good: Spacey room with A/C, free wi-fi, clean and beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff, very close to the main bus and train terminal, nice kitchen. The bad: A bit pricey for what it is. I've been in comparable hostels for less, but not too much. The shower didn't have very good pressure and the bathroom was shared between a few too many people. All around a very good hostel.

We stayed in a twin ensuite on B&B. The good: Great facilities, including pool, gym, bar, restaurant, good breakfast. Room service, nice rooms, close walking distance to bus stations and the bay. Excelent value for money. The bad: Reception staff can be very unfriendly at times. There's very loud karaoke in the patio every night, so if you're getting up early for scuba diving or something, take your ear plugs...

I stayed in the 3 bed mixed dorm. The good: It has all the basic facilities in good state, clean bathrooms and rooms, free wi-fi, walking distance from the center of town, friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. The bad: Breakfast was a bit lackluster and there is barely any room between the beds inside the room, making it very crowded with 3 people.

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. The good: Beautiful old house walking distance from almost everything, good showers, breakfast, facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, free wi-fi. The bad: The kitchens were a bit restrictive and didn't have many implements.

AAl @ Rooms

It's a great apartment in a great location and run by a very friendly and helpful guy. It only has 3 rooms, so it's the perfect place for a couple, 2 friends, or someone alone who want to stay in a quiet, feel-at-home kind of environment. The facilities are top notch and clean, there's everything you need (supermarket, pubs, stores, metro station, etc.) around the building, and the dog is really nice!

Gracia City Hostel Barcelona

I stayed in a mixed dorm, and everything was relatively good. The hot water in the showers was spotty and there weren't nearly enough electrical outlets in the rooms, but otherwise the facilities were good. Although the staff are very nice and helpful with everything, the fact that the only place to hang out is a windowless basement by the kitchen is a detriment for the atmosphere. But if you don't plan to spend much time in the hostel, it's great value for money!
