Phil Guesthouse

The hostel itself is modern and well equiped, but I thought it was a little bit expensive compared to other hostels in Seoul, due to the location and the breakfast being too simple, not even eggs were included. The staff was average, ok.

The hostel is located just a few minutes walking from the station. The person who takes care (or the owner, I don't know) is very gentle and will always make sure you feel comfortable there. I really liked there and ended up staying for 4 days. I just missed a dry machine, as my clothes couldn't dry because of the rain. Overall, it is quite a good value for money in Nara. Ask to the owner about the trails outside the city and enjoy your stay.

I enjoyed a lot my time while I was staying in J-Hoppers. The staff organized a Israeli party with delicious food while I was there and helped me with everything I needed - they were really great. The hostel is located just a few minutes walking from "behind" of Kyoto station and the metro. The beds were comfortable and they even have curtains so you can maintain your privacy.

The hostel is a 70 year old japanese house situated just 2 minutes walking from the train/bus station. It is a great place for those who want to have a good time outside the chaos of Tokyo and other big cities. Very calm and relaxing. The couple who owns the place is also very nice and friendly.

To sum it up, one person from the staff denied me to leave my bag for more than one day at the hostel, even after staying 4 days there. I went to Tsukiji market very early in that morning and was going to Takayama on the next day, so there was no need to book two more nights. I just needed a place to leave my backpack, change my clothes and brush my teeth for one day. I was very disappointed, but I can`t say I didn`t have a great time there, and the girls from the staff were always amazing.

Yume Nomad

Yume Nomad is a great place for backpackers traveling in Kobe. The atmosphere is very easy-going and friendly. Mayumi helped me with everything while I was there and I have to thank her for that! The hostel was making some nagashi somen, which was a quite funny and delicious experience. Thanks for all!

The capsule hotel is a different and great experience and this hotel seems to be very good. The staff was very kind, just remember to take your shoes off before you come in. But... I spent almost 1 hour trying to find the hotel with their directions that seem to be translated by Google directly from japanese, so be sure you have the location pointed on a map.

The hostel is near Fukushima station and very close (just 5-7 minutes walking) to Osaka station. I had a great time there. The staff, in special, is very very friendly and helpful. If you talk to them about Japan, they will give you a lot of good advices about Osaka and the country itself. And one more thing: you get discount if you stay in the other J-Hoppers around Japan for a number of times!

The staff is great and the location is just the same, very near to the train/bus station, 3 minute walking. The hostel is pretty nice and it provides everything. The air conditioning in the rooms is turned on only after 21:00, if you don't mind. I would definitely stay there again.

The hostel is great and the couple who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. They made my journey to Taipei much more pleasant than it would be by my own, giving me advices and helping me to find interesting places to go all the time. The hostel provides everything, from drinking water to tooth brushes. It is near Nangang station (MRT), so from there, you can go anywhere you want. Also very easy to go from the airport.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed! The atmosphere is great, you meet a lot of nice people there, there is a swimming pool and a tv room with a lot of movies... Nothing better to chill out... The hostel stays in Sanur, so is as close as you can get from everything: bars, beaches, restaurants... I booked for two days, but ended up staying almost 10! I'll definitely come back.

The resort is excellent. Great breakfast and swimming pool, though I wouldn't recommend it for those who travel alone. It is almost impossible to stay outside due to the mosquitos and people there don't seem to be very opened to meet other people (my impression).

The location of the hostel is excellent, such as the prices and the staff. Sean is a really nice guy, always willing to help and giving you the best advices!

The hostel is nice, but the only problem, in my point of view, is that the area were people eat, drink and talk is just in front of the bathrooms. When you wake up and want to take a shower in the morning, passing through all those people with the face of who has just woken up is somewhat awkward.

The hostel has a quiet atmosphere, just like the city, and I appreciate it very much. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help and give good advices. By the way, the location couldn't be better: cross two streets separated by one square you will find yourself just in front of the bus station.

Nice hostel. Very friendly staff. Good atmosphere, with swimming pool and in front of the sea. Despite Turkey being a difficult place (compared to other countries) to meet other backpackers, this place showed to be an exception.

Me and my friend were very well received in the hostel. The staff is really nice and always ready to help with any doubt we had. They definitely made us fell at home there! The location is very practical, just a few minutes from the bus station and the city centre. There are plenty of photos from trips to South America (maybe from the staff) in the walls like the name (in spanish) suggests... I would stay there again, definitely, and hope to be back soon!

Telstar Hostels

Sao Paulo, Brazil

10/10 hostel! Extremely attentive staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, very pleasant and calm neighborhood and delicious food cooked by Franco. Right next to the Vila Mariana metro station, the place is near of almost everything interesting in Sao Paulo. Despite all the qualities, the greatest point is the staff. I would come back to stay there just because of them. Always keen to help and be the most polite as possible. I think it would be nice to put some Sci-Fi movies to play on the TV and move the couchs towards it.

The hostel is very well located, close to everything you might need. Ten minutes walking to Larcomar, surrounded by restaurants and, of course, in the best part of Lima: Miraflores. It has a nice rooftop and it is a good place to meet other backpackers. I definitely recommend it.

This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed. I arrived there and no one knew of my reservation. The person who took care of the hostel wanted to charge me two nights because I have arrived at 6 a.m. (but left 6 a.m. of the next day). The hostel is far from the Titicaca Lake. There are much better hostels near the lake. There is NO HOT WATER. The shower gives hot water for 3 seconds and than cold water all long. Do not stay in this hostel!
