Nice hostel, pretty clean and good staff. When I arrived the star member from Brazil recommended a tour that was really good. Kitchen is large and decently stocked. Wifi was fine. As hostels go it's by no means the best one ever but it was fine for a couple of night to see the city. Some guys hang around the street entrance and feels very dodge, would not want to be out there alone after dark.

Huge hostel, reasonably clean though our bathroom shower didn't have a shower curtain so the whole bathroom got flooded every time anyone had a shower. The water was hot though which is good. One of the better Moroccan hostels and I would recommend

Very strange place. First up my room had some "problems" so I was moved to the rooftop hut with 5 beds (booked 4 bed dorm) with no key or security at all in room. 2nd night I was in a 2 bed room with a padlock for security. The entire time there was no hot water so they gave us 1 trip to a hammam to be scrubbed. There was a huge disco (loud music, lights, smoke machine) until midnight EVERY NIGHT despite no one being in there and it making it impossible to talk/meet people. Breakfast was ok.

Great hostel, looks more like a boutique hotel. Nice and clean with a great breakfast. Location is good too. Could use more power points next to beds to charge devices. Not a party hostel but nice crowd. Still brilliant place.

Perfect location, staff are fantastic and happy to help with anything. Lots of bathrooms and showers and the kitchen is small but good. Metal bunk beds = very squeaky but hostel provides free ear plugs to help. I would recommend to friends and stay here again. Thanks guys!

Very expensive, the room rate does not include the mandatory sheets which should be included in the price as you don't have the option to use your sleeping bag or own sheets. Not enough bathrooms. There are no locks on the doors to dorms so anyone could walk into your room. Staff take their time in serving people so expect to wait for a while. Besides those faults it's very clean, decent location and nicely designed.

Excellent flash packer hostel! The design is beautiful, great breakfast, staff are all massive hipsters and very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and everything was spotless. Location is nice and central. Wifi is also very fast and reliable on each level. Attracts a cool crowd of travellers. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again when I visit Istanbul in the future. Highly recommend!

Very hard to find, on the top level of a very old run down building with barely any signs. It's part of another "hotel". Cons: Shower did not work, rickety elevator looked like it could collapse any moment, staff that did not know where tourist sights were actually located (and told me to look at sights that are not even there). Pros: Location is easy for walking around the main downtown area and I did have a amazing view from my (very old) balcony over the ocean/park.

Very hard to find, in a building construction that looks like a abandoned building. Kind of sketchy down town area and about 20-30mins walk to egypt museum (not 10 like they say). Breakfast was fine and clean enough though I woke up with lots of bites that most likely came from Mosquitos. No atmosphere at all and felt very unwanted

Fantastic hostel, probably one of the best I've stayed at in Europe. Electronic security bracelets open front door, your room door and lockers all in one - every hostel should have this. Staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make the stay great, especially the lady from Brazil and the short friendly guy (sorry, bad with names). The dinner (10 euros) was great and well worth the $$. Included Breakfast was simple but good. I highly recommend you stay here, great place.

The place is located in a good area, close to lots of nice cafes and bars. Everyone goes to bed at 10PM though and there is no social side to the place, you will be woken up at 9AM every day (like I was) with a guy cleaning and changing beds over despite the check out time being 10PM. Its fine if you just want to sleep somewhere clean and good location but dont expect any party atmosphere or a sleep in.

Hi Tomas, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. I would just like to comment on some of your points. Firstly we are not and never will be a party hostel and we do not market ourselves this way. We do however host nights for our guests such as Monday nights at our local bar for dinner and drink specials and host other event nights and BBQ's for guests to enjoy. We are a stones throw away from Ponsonby Rd which is filled with bars, if looking to go out then that's the place to be. In regards to our cleaner waking you up; you were booked into a shared room, so if beds have been checked out of then our cleaner does make the beds from 9am, this is not an unusual occurrence within hostels and not an unreasonable time. The cleaner is however always quiet and will not vacuum the room until after 10am or later if guests are still sleeping. We are a budget hostel however we have very high standards of cleanliness and maintain our hostel to the best of our abilities, sorry you did not feel this was done so in a manner preferable to yourself. We have won awards for best staff and atmosphere, though this is something you have scored us lower on. We hope you will give us another chance on your next trip to Auckland, you did extend your original booking while you were here so we can't have been that bad ;-) Thanks again for leaving your feedback, we always are looking to improve. Many Thanks Holly

Nice hostel with a great free breakfast. Nice clean facilities and great Internet access with wifi or their apple macs. One point to note though is the age of people stayin there is pretty mixed but around 25-35 or older and they close off all common areas at midnight so there is literally no where for you to go if you just want to chill and not sleep. Great if you just want to explore Toronto and have somewhere nice to sleep but if you want a party go elsewhere

Great hostel, the staff are amazing especially the guy who lives on the room in a hut. Make sure you go to their 'activity' each night. Sangria night was great and we also went out to some bars another night. Made lots of friends and great memories. Definitely recommended.

great location, nice staff, great breakfast included and clean hostel. Our shower was absolutely broken though, more water went up the wall than into the shower. Right around the corner from a lot of cool little shops and bars. Not a party hostel, lots of families were staying there with children. Would definately stay again though

We stayed in the ánnex´which isn´t even part of the main hostel meaning we had to walk there in order to use wifi (Which they charge 1 euro per hour!!) and laundry, kitchen, breakfast etc. Was very annoying even though its not that far away. Showers were aweful in the annex. Tiny boxes that didnt have any mirrors, hooks to hang clothes on (so they get damp) and there are no sinks other than tiny ones in your room. Really uncomfy beds too. Good location though next to the Museum. Not great place

Nice Hostel. As we arrived the nice English lady working there fed us pasta. We were 3 people in a 6 bed dorm. Only one bathroom and shower for everyone in the room but no real issue. This was not a party hostel, people in our dorm were in bed by 10PM which was strange. Good location though, close to lots of attractions. Be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs though because there is no lift. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a full kitchen and was pretty clean

very clean, nice air con and kitchen but no atmosphere. More of a motel then a hostel. Barely saw anyone else staying there. Location is about 20 min walk to most things so not too bad. Good place if you just need a place to sleep in comfort before going out partying.

Please don´t stay here! The staff were lovely people but the place is absolutely disgusting. It may be in an old palace but its fallen far. We stayed in a 8 bed dorm, it was 40 degrees or more and no air conditioning so we needed to leave the windows open in this tiny room for air. Woke up with about 30 bites all over me (From mosquitos hopefully, pretty sure they dont have bugs). One shower and toilet for EVERYONE IN THE HOSTEL and it didnt even work. Some stranger slept on my bed. Dont stay!!

This hosel is themed like the book Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. Pretty modern looking. We stayed in the 4 bed private dorm which was in what appeared to be a recently renovated appartment building. Rooms were big and clean, only one bathroom for quite a few people though. Location is great, near a cool area with lots of nice food. Breakfast is pretty good too. Down side was staff member who checked us in took 40 mins and was quite rude to us. Also very noisy at night. Very bad wifi.

Great wifi connection. Clean. The location was next to a highway and not really near anything that exciting, although it was close to the main train station which was good. The hostel is huge and seemed to be packed with school groups and 18 year olds. The bar was pretty aweful. Not much character, I would probably not stay here again just because its quite boring.
