Instead of staying the 2 nights we booked at the hostel we extended our stay to 5. The staff is helpful and friendly, the location great (just a few minutes walk to Pelourinho, but still quiet), delicious breakfast & caipirinha, warm water, rooftop terrace.. Would definitely go there again!

We had a great time at Hostal Tuyasto - it is a comfy place with friendly atmosphere, great outside area, well equipped kitchen, clean rooms and hot showers. The staff was friendly and helpful, the lovely owners saved us and found a place for us to stay as we couldn't (due to holidays every place was fully booked). We made great friends, enjoyed our tours booked via the hostel and had an unforgettable time. Definitely recommended to stay there!

The staff was amazing, english excellent, very good facilities, hot showers, loved the heater we had in our room overnight, good kitchen to prepare dinner yourself.. we arrived very early in a nightbus from la paz, we couldn't check in the room immidiately, but were allowed to use facilities and warm up at the couch :) the warm atmosphere let us forget the cold weather!

I really enjoyed my stay in the Malasana Travelers Hostel - the rooms were clean, a pink living room with black and white pictures, 1 euro beer, amazing staff (friendly, helping, interested, talkative), good music, easy to meet other travelers. I just can recommend to stay in this hostel if you're easygoing, openminded and interested in meeting new people!
