wonderful place. right in the middle of all the nice bars, tapas places and party locations, but still not too noisy. nice staff, helpful and friendly people around. the lemonade and the free tea are good as well, and the breakfeast is a real feast for just 3 euros. one of the best places in one of the best european cities!

very clean and new. helpful and friendly staff. a bit of a walk to the centre (roughly 10 mins to kazimierz, 25 to market place) but in a very interesting part of town. history and culture all around. the hostel is spacy and has a very well-maintained kitchen.

One of the few homely hostels in central Sydney, loved the stay here! Nice people, nice even if somehow confused staff. the free breakfast is very convenient especially if you are working, and the backyard is very comfortable. not enough bathrooms in the first building, but you get used to that. good place to stay if you don't like impersonal, factory-like big city hostels.

very very nice. if you book early you can save a lot of money - we had a private 3 bed ensuite and enjoyed it very much. nice courtyard, good free breakfast. staff seem annoyed sometimes but that's ok. the kitchen is very very small. the location is perfect if you want to see the city, chelsea, greenwich village etc, instead of times square and 5th ave.

unbelievable!! do not sleep here. the staff are a bunch of unfriendly ... (I do not want to use this word here), and they double charge the 10% deposit you pay when you book on hostelworld, which they are absolutely not entitled to do. I have contacted hostelworld and they are dealing with it, but still: avoid this place if you can. rooms smell of mould, strange people around, the proximity to the airport is the only good thing about this place. stay away!!

nice place, especially the well-decorated courtyard. only stayed for 1 night, but that was a good night out in vegas. helpful staff, good rooms. though you have to walk about 20mins to get to the first casino.

View Property Reply

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us - our courtyard is awesome for meeting new people to hang out and pre drink with before heading out on activities! The strip is pretty big - 4 and a half miles but we're in a great location in-between downtown Fremont street and the main casino part of the strip. The duece bus runs 24 hours too so can hop on and off down the strip if you don't fancy walking as it's pretty big!

breakfast is good, location is good. staff - not so good. they charged the full price on my card without my authorisation before arrival. I am pretty sure that they double charged the 10% deposit, but the receptionist's english was so bad that I could not really discuss that problem with him.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, the place is absolutely clean but luckily still has a homely rather than sterile atmosphere. They even have an old piano, bikes to rent for free, and a nice location just on the edge of the beautiful Te Henui walkway. The rooms are clean, laundry facilities are quite cheap, the backyard and the lounge room are also very nice. A good choice for New Plymouth travellers!

good location. not as bad as many of the reviewers stated (if you pay only 18$ there's a limit to what you get for your money), but a little filthy. not enough cutlery and no showers on the ground floor. the doors don't close properly, and the keys don't really work. but the staff is nice, and most of the people as well.

Nice hostel, located directly at the lake. Facilties were average-good in terms of quality and cleanliness, but the staff was slightly annoyed, but that might have been a bad day. the outside areas in front of the separate building's kitchen are very nice. all in all, a good place to stay in te anau.

perfect location - you fall into the lake when you walk out the door. it's a 4 min walk to the centre, and about 15mins to the big supermarket (fresh choice). the staff were ok, the kitchen as well. bathrooms were very small but not too bad either. nice little backgarden behind the kitchen! common room upstairs is very small, not much space to sit down and eat. but the location makes up for all the flaws, definitely.

the rooftop is definitely the best part of this nice little hostel. and the free breakfast is a nice treat: good coffee (!), fresh fruit, and toast with various spreads. there is free wifi and spacious showers, the air-conditioning is too high sometimes, but that's the same thing everywhere in singapore - outside it's too hot and humid, inside it's too cold. the staff were a bunch of cool girls, and the location close to little india is ok as well. but it's quite a long walk to the city centre.
