great place in a great neighborhood. first time staying in an american hostel, but it was great and still had that international-backpacker traveler feel. i came back a second time when i swung through portland again a few days later.
i spent little time at the hostel itself, but the owner was really helpful in me planning my next days road trip around the region. the location is a few blocks away from the main plaza and main pedestrian area with lost of restaurants, as well as the bus stop.
They advertise they accept credit cards but they didn't when we were there, so that put us in a spot. But other than that it was amazing, the guy who runs the place is helpful and breakfast is definitely above par. Would for sure go back (with enough cash)
pretty decent place, clean rooms, hot showers, good breakfast, and close to the bus stop. not really close to many good food options though.
place was gross... the showers, the toilets, the sinks. i wouldnt even brush my teeth or eat the breakfast. I arrived on a late flight around midnight, the staff was so drunk and/or high that they couldnt even find my reservation, and no one could speak anything except Portuguese. I was just happy to get out of there the next morning.
great location in copacabana and helpful staff that could tell you how to get where you wanted to go! only stayed a couple nights, but would definitely return here if i get a chance.

this was pretty much a place for me to sleep and shower while in the city. it was all that easy to meet people, but the location was great and it was a comfy bed in a clean room.
they tell you what to expect before you get there... it was a great social hostel, easy to meet people ready to party. kinda a long walk to the old town and stuff, but its in a nice quite neighborhood with some nice little restaurants nearby. although wasnt a big fan of being able to smoke inside
nice clean rooms with decent beds (they are college dorm rooms), the main part of the city is easy enough to get to, easy to get to from transit, and helpful front desk. would probably stay here again
not far from city center or train station, and a pretty social place. easy to meet people lookin to go out and party.
great little place, close to the beaches and real easy to meet other people. would stay here again if i ever go back to Bol
the entrance is kind of sketchy, as were the two guys that ran the place when i was there, but price was unbeatable and the location was pretty good too. beds were not that bad either, and it was pretty easy to meet other travelers wanting to socialize. that being said, i'd probably try to stay somewhere a little nicer (and costlier) next time
the location was unbeatable, and the rooms i stayed in had just been remodeled. only downside was there were only two combo toilet-shower facilities per about 12 beds or so, so it got a bit cramped in the morning. you get to eat breakfast for a discount at the little place across the street, Dizzies, which was amazing. also the girl that was working was extremely helpful in planning my next stop in Bol. would definitely stay here again
great location in the heart of old city near tons of caffes and pubs. plus the staff were all extremely helpful. i plan on going back to Ljubjana, and will definitely stay here.
