Hostal Santillan

Madrid, Spain

AMAZING location! AMAZING staff. Along with very spacious and clean rooms. This Hostal is located very near a subway station, but if you don't mind walking a little, you are walking distance from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and many more. One unexpected thing was that the place is located on the 7th and 8th floor, and the building has this tiny elevator that will only fit a few people, making a hassle at times. There are also no common rooms, so you won't be seeing many other travelers.

I originally picked this hotel because I wanted to be close to Champ de Mars. They mentioned it was walking distance, and even though it was it is still a 20-30 minute walk. The hotel is located very close to a subway station though, and that connects you to the rest of Paris with ease. The room was perfect as far as size, spacious dorm and bathroom. One thing though, the walls are very thin so you will hear everything that happens on nearby rooms.

Hotel Queen Anne

Brussels, Belgium

Location was the big factor for staying at Queen Anne. It is walking distance from the Grand Place. The room, even though small, had everything you need.

Amazing hostal, just amazing. Everything you want and expect from a modern hostal in a big city. The staff was extremely helpful, the rooms, ever though small, were warm and clean. The Hostal is located very near a subway station that will connect you with the rest of London with ease, but! it is not in the middle of anything. Expect 15 to 20 minutes traveling on the subway to get to the main London attractions. The ONLY bad thing was poor WiFi reception on the third floor.

Ganbara Hostel

Bilbao, Spain

The hostal is located on the Casco Viejo area, which has an amazing night life. You are a few blocks away from delicious tapa places, wine, etc. The Hostal itself was very clean, with a nice kitechen and common areas. One problem was not enough bathrooms though. The staff was amazing! I had to leave the hostal very early in the morning, and the guy there was nice enough to give breakfast way before breakfast time.

Pirwa Hostels Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu, Peru

We only stayed one night at this hostel and I only regret I didn't stay longer. Amazing beds and pillows. Lots of different rooms and things to do, not only around the hostel, but in it as well. Will def recommend it to friends.

The rooms: we had a private room and it was beyond expected. Bed was amazing and the pillows, even better. The Hostel: with only three computers and poor Wi-Fi connection getting online was a bit of a hassle, but you are probably not there to check your FB anyway. The bar in it is amazing, with outstanding food. If you want to party, you need to go nowhere else. The staff: the only down part to my experience was the people on the front desk. NOT the people at the bar they were amazing.
