Very nice place and convenient if flying out early am, 12 km from airport. Otherwise easy to reach the old town by tram, about 15 min. Ewa is very nice and helpful. Very good rooms and bathrooms. I had to leave too early so i missed breakfast but i am sure judging by everything else that it would probably have been very good.

We had a private double room, it was very nice. I am not sure about the rest of the rooms though as we did not see them. The staff was very helpful and the place is about 10 min walking to the center/cathedral. The hostel was a bit hard to find as there were ongoing works on the facade that covered the hostel sign.

Buen Camino

Really nice hostel, it's a pity that the bed was probably one of the worst i've seen in my life, the mattress was shockingly bent in a U-shape. Moreover, all the blankets available had massive holes and looked truly dirty and old, something you wouldn't give to anybody, they looked like they had been taken from the curb of a home shelter... The bathroom (incl. the shower) was one of the nicest i've seen in hostels ever. The mattress-blanket issue could be easily solved, please do so!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Sorry about the blanket situation! We realized how bad they were and went to order new ones but all of Montevideo shuts down for Semana Santa. There was a delay with the shipping due to the holidays. We have already replaced the old blankets and are looking to do the same with the mattresses. Thanks for your comment! -Matt
