great hostel and facilities. super comfortable and sturdy beds that dont squeak everytime you take a breath, or even when you climb up the bed. giant lockers under the beds and clean bathrooms. decent breakfast and great dinner that you can part take in every night (for ten bucks). super nice and helpful staff.
probably the nicest hostel i've ever stayed at. common area is a gorgeous dream. love the freshly made waffles for breakfast and the delicious soups in the evening. super helpful & nice staff. can't say anything bad about this hostel.
decent rooms, nice/clean bathrooms. sweet roof top with couches and hammocks. supposedly there's a rooftop bar at 8pm, which in 5 days i haven't seen there. also no paella night (lots of false advertising). the staff isn't that helpful, they're either in the kitchen or on the rooftop playing guitar. also, they don't have maps of the city. other than that, it was a nice place to sleep, take showers and have siestas on the rooftop.
awesome hostel, super clean and great place to unwind if you've been traveling for a while. rooms are converted apartments, so even if you're in an 8 bed sometimes two or 4 of those beds will be in the next room, also super nice bathrooms in the rooms, and a mini kitchen. super nice staff. planned to stay 3 days, stayed for 8.
traditional squeaky bunks, good/clean facilities though, nice staff. small common area though right by the front desk, nice enough kitchen and dining area. tons of nice people to eat and drink with in the evenings.
nice hostel, appreciate the regular twin beds, and not the usual bunks. good size lockers in the rooms and clean facilities.
it's a party hostel. good facilities. big lockers in the rooms. don't come here if you like sleep. common room smells like buttcrack though. met a lot of nice people however.
This was an expensive stay. I stayed for about five days, and I've never paid so much for a hostel....let alone a 12 head room. The room smelled like buttcrack half the time and the bathrooms were not the cleanest things in the world. also, co-ed bathrooms. weird if you don't realize at first. breakfast costs like ten euros for rolls, ham, salami, cheese, some cereals and coffee. for an extra six bucks you can get a croissant. i suppose those are just danish/scandinavian prices. staff was ok.
it's in the middle of nowhere, so it's not really to be expected that they have amazing bathroom and shower facilities. It's kind of like staying in a cabin or going camping. the "tree houses" or wood cabins are great though. they served us breakfast and dinner and they were both amazing (always something different for dinner, made us really feel at home). the staff is kind and helpful. Awesome bonfires at night.
great place, the facilities were top of the line compared to other hostels in turkey (hot water in the shower!). they have a safe, so you can give them your passport or laptop if you want. they were very helpful when figuring out directions to places. good breakfast.
We only stayed here for one night. The showers were a tough one, there was always a puddle in the hallway for some reason, and the tiny room you had to go through to get to our room smelled horridly like aged socks. The room itself was clean though, I wouldn't necessarily roll around on the ground, but the beds were clean and comfy and they provided us with towels, which we didn't need but were still nice to have. The guy at the front desk was nice though.
Most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at. Malik, Jamal and the rest of the staff were so kind and such great hosts. There are no locks on some of the dorm rooms but still felt like all my stuff was safe (was able to leave my passport in a safe w/ Malik). The common area is super comfortable and it's always full of people. I was travelling by myself, so this hostel was perfect bc it's a fantastic place to meet people and be social. there's a turtle that chills in the common area too.
Great hostel, except for staring at a red stain on the bunk above me. Nice people though, sheets were clean, bathroom was fine. Felt very safe, Lockers in the rooms, locks on very door even have to swipe your card to get in the building. Met some great people and it was semi dead as its off season right now. Went on the free walking tour offered daily by the hostel, james is great and he recommended a lot of great places to see outside of the tour, including restaurants, bars, theaters etc etc.
