Location was good, breakfast was terrible (only the cheapest food they could possibly feed you), our room was dingy - clean but uninviting, the sink in our room was messed up and so was one of the bathrooms on our floor. The whole place is in desperate need of a facelift - it's not bad, but it's not good either. Everything about the place just felt really outdated and dingy. The AC did work really well, which was nice. We would not stay here again.

Thank you for leaving an honest comment, we try to improve based on your opinions. Sorry about not providing the perfect stay you would have desired. Though we feel that you are being a bit unfair to us: On the website when you made the booking it says that breakfast is NOT included, and we provide it to our customers as an additional service, free of charge, just like tea and coffee which is available round the clock. Again we’re sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay.

Great location and wonderful staff. Big breakfast in the morning. Simple but clean. Eat at the restaurant on the corner of the street that the hostel is on (going towards the plaza) - it is so so good!

Great place to stay, especially if you have bikes to make the 30 min walk into town much shorter. Aaron is helpful and really nice and let us use the washer for free (much appreciated). It's deft worth saving the money and staying a bit out of town. The view from his home is amazing!

We LOVED the couple that ran this hostel! The rooms are very clean and bright. Great outdoor area. The only downside is the 10min walk into town, but it is nice to stay away from all the noise of the center. Also, the hot water is kinda hard to get to work. That said, we would deff stay here again bc the staff is SO great, we loved the other travelers staying there and compared to other hostels in San Pedro they have great prices.
