Super nice hostel! The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was great! It took about 5-10 minutes to walk here from the train station (I thought it was a little closer, but you just have to keep on walking). And it was only 15 minutes WALK to the airport! So close by! The (all you can eat) dinner buffet was very nice and reasonably prices (5 euros, which included 1 drink, also alcoholic). Only downside was that it meant there was no kitchen, and no refrigerator (for fruit or drinks).
When I arrived in Genoa, it was quite late and my luggage got stolen that day, so I was really only there to sleep, and I wasn't interested in much else. It took about 20-30 minutes with the bus to get to this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was clean and it was pretty cheap place to stay. The view over the city was beautiful. Upon arriving there were a lot of people sitting outside with kids running around. I think it shared a building with a school or something. No nuisance!
Not in Cinque Terre, but very close to it! Only takes a few minutes by train. Coming from the train station, there aren't a lot of signs pointing you in the right direction of the hostel. So I advise to print the picture with the directions (once you have those, it's very easy!) Reception in the morning, afternoon & evening. In between you can enter the building with the key you get at check-in. The personnel was very friendly and the rooms were clean! Breakfast isn't much, but it was free!
One of the only hostels in Verona I could find! Staff was very friendly & the rooms were clean. Facilities were good, although there is no refrigerator and/or stove. (refrigerator would be a big improvement!) Bathrooms were dated, but were clean. It's also relatively close to the city center. It will only take you about 10-15 minutes to get there, but it isn't really a problem as the city center is not that big. Really nice they have an outdoor seatin area with a (small) pool!
Beautifully decorated hostel! I did find it a bit hard to connect with other people, because it was very big and there were a lot of people. Location is fine: not in the city center, but close to a bus stop! There is no free kitchen to use, but there is a bar with the possibility to order some dinner. (Not really cheap, but also not very expensive, and it tasted very good). The optional breakfast was quite expensive for what you got. Not a lot to chose from, so room for improvement!
