Canal Inn Georgetown

The hotel is newly refubished and we could not fault the cleanliness. However, there was absolutely no service from the hotel staff. The reception desk is not manned and on arrival you have to call a telephone number to get someone let you in. As overseas visitors, it proved very costly having to make an international phonecall on our mobile phone. The situation was really poor and on that basis I would not stay again - there was too much uncertainty about checkin and bag collection.

Soggiorno Santa Reparata

Florence, Italy

When we arrived we were told "Mama mia, problemo, problemo" regarding out 4 night booking by the owner who speaks very little English. We were told we could not stay 4 nights, instead, we would have to stay the first 2 nights at another hotel. We were herded down the road to a very average dingy hotel on the 3rd floor - tiny room, musty smell and no towels. Very disappointed that we ended up paying the price for Soggiorna Santa Reparta for the first 2 nights - no discount offered.

We stayed at Maltepe Pensıon for one night before boarding a blue cruise down to Fethiye. The room was spotless, aırcondıtıoned. The owner was very helpful - he called through to our travel agent ın Fethiye to confirm our cruise for us. The garden courtyard ıs lovely for reading and chillıng out. Breakfast not ıncluded, but for the price we wouldnt have expected ıt to be. All in all a great little pensıon for the prıce, very fiendly owner. Free use of computers and ınternet was also a plus.
