A Super friendly hostel! I really enjoyed my time here and met many fellow backpackers which was great to go out, share a beer and some stories. Would go back if I visit Kathmandu again.

It is very close to the airport. What more do you want? You never stay here for any other reason than being close for a connecting flight the next day. No windows... but who cares if the air quality is that of Delhi. Has A/C which is REALLY loud when on and the ceiling fan was not adjustable... it was on "hurricane" speed. The hotel is among 100's of airpor t hotels so you may get a better deal by knocking the door of another one nearby. It's up to you. For us, it was get in, sleep and get out!!

I booked this for my wife and her friend arriving from the Greyhound Bus stations at 2am in the morning. The hostel staff were great. Instructions to get there were precise and well thought out. Calling a taxi like they say is a good idea. Hostel itself is brilliant! Fantastic!

Average hotel and you could get better with a little more time to research. Low season so it was pretty hard to meet anyone in the hotel. Room was cleaned daily, water provided free etc Budget, you get what you pay for and we were happy. Staff speak limited english so trying to work out some information on further travel was hard. Dont take taxi with them if you are on your way to the bus station. You are better off taking a songtao from the street. They quote 500baht and we paid 40b for 2.

A place to meet people. We were only there for 1 night but it definately had a good vibe and a good crowd of backpackers willing to chat. Everything was decent and the private room we had didnt have a working fan. Staff sorted that out in 5 minutes. Only down side and sorry to say this but... there was a big rat nibbling off a chopping block in the kitchen when i was looking for staff to help with the fan. Sure, its hot and humid but common sense should prevail when leaving food scraps around.

Very pretty looking and has a misleading rating of +90%. The rooms are clean as are the bathrooms. Cannot wear shoes inside and the female owner was forceful in telling us that. Also rude telling me I walk to loud. Tried to be friendly but the owner was rude and arrogant. I observed people who had booked tours of eat from her hostel were treated nicely... We weren't. All on all I would not recommend this place. Beers are half price at the small hole in the wall place 1 door down! poor!

There are a few simple rules at our hostel. Removing your shoes before you go inside is one. We also value our guests right to a fairly quiet place to stay. Drinking past 12 is okay, we just simply ask for you to respect our other guests and not be too loud because they have early tours to enjoy. We want everyone to have a good time, but this is not a party hostel. You can enjoy Thai culture and hospitality here. We hope you can find a hostel more suitable to your needs and standards next time.

Well run hostel with a great guy running the show. Close to all the action but with a superb location to get some sleep when you need it! Very well organised and accommodating hostel with all you need! The fan dorm is fine and air flow is plenty!!! Seasoned travellers will love it and newbies will cope just fine!

Basic hostel. If you knew what you were getting like me, then you are not disappointed. Does all you need. However THE LAKE TOUR IS A SHAM! The hostel are not to blame but the company they used in April 2012 was a rip off! Broken boat etc etc be warned! Hostel is good though.

budget hostel. dont expect a lot. if you want a hostel packing a punch that offers a lot of tours, information and good atmosphere... dont go here. if you are ok with the super basics which is all it is... then why not!

Being in the red zone is ok...Ive been to many before in the world. But junkies outside the hotel with needles still in their arms? drug deals going out the front, across the road and around the corner. Be aware this place is not safe. I felt insecure having my girlfriend outside the room as we waited a night for a transfer flight. It's a hotel for some people i guess, but i would NEVER reccommend this place to ANYONE!
