What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Still doesn´t sound really simple? Well, basically it means that once you have an account with RSS readers such as Google Reader (you can sign in using your Gmail details if you have a Gmail account) or Feedburner and you subscribe to a 'feed', you are notified every time the site you've subscribed to adds something new. So in the case of Hostelworld, every time a new free pocket guide is available, or another city guide is finished you'll be notified. Oh, and subscribing is free in case you were wondering.

What feeds does Hostelworld have?

We've got two feeds – Hostelworld News and Hostelworld Travel Info. Subscribe to our news feed and you'll find out about all things new at Hostelworld like new technology, new countries and more, while subscribe to our travel info feed and everytime a new podcast is finished, or new travel feature is added, you’ll be the first to know.

How do i subscribe ?

Simply click on the channel you want to subscribe to below. On this page either click on 'subscribe to this feed' to subscribe to it using the browser, or alternatively copy and paste the URL (page address that's in the address bar and that ends with .xml) into your RSS Reader (see above).
