Salta, Atacama & Uyuni By Say Hueque by Say Hueque

Tour Itinerary

Día 1: Arrive in Salta. Reception and transfer to the hostel. Day at Leisure. We recommend you to do a visit to the beautiful colonial city of Salta.

Día 2: Breakfast. Full Day excursion back to the Clouds. You will do the same trip as the Train to The Clouds in a 4WD. You will also visit the Salt Flats and the Village of Purmamarca (in the Humahuaca Gorge). Finally you cross through Jujuy city and arrive in Salta in the evening.

Día 3: Breakfast. Day at leisure to do optional activities, like rafting on Juramento River, visit the Wine Yards in Cafayate or doing a trip through Humahuaca Gorge (Heritage Site by UNESCO).

Día 4: Breakfast. This morning you have the bus to San Pedro de Atacama crossing the Andes thorough the International border "Paso de Jama" (one of the highest international crossings in the world). The trip lasts 12 hours approximately. Arrive in San Pedro in the evening.

Día 5: This day you have the half day excursion to Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon) where you can appreciate amazing rock formations. You can combine the tour with and optional mountain bike).

DAY 6: Excursion to the amazing Geysers del Tatio. The tour starts at 04:00 hs from the hotel and come back in the afternoon. You will enjoy a perfect day watching the sunrise and taking bath in the spring waters!!. Return in the afternoon.

DAY 7: This day you star the 3 day trip to Los Salares de Uyuni. You will cross The Andes to Bolivia and visit National Reserve "Eduardo Acaroa", Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, the Thermal waters, Geysers del Sol and Laguna Colorada. This night you will sleep in the middle od the Bolivian Puna in a Refuge (shared room). Meals included.

DAY 8: Breakfast. Leave from Laguna Colorada early in the morning. You will visit different and spectacular landscapes during the trip before reaching The Salar de Uyuni. Night in a Refuge.

DAY 9: Breakfast. Visit to Salar de Uyuni (the biggest Salt Flat in the World crossing it in 4WD reaching Lomo del Pescado Island where you'll have lunch.

Arrive in Uyuni city in the evening.
