Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Devonport or Launceston to Bicheno

St Columbus Falls, with its ancient rainforest back drop is our first stop today. Continuing through the changing landscape of heritage farms, rainforest and mining towns we spend the afternoon at the breathtaking Bay of Fires. Here you can take a stroll along the gleaming white sands or a swim in the clear turquoise water (weather

permitting). Tonight we stay at in the seaside township of Bicheno. After dinner, you can choose to take a tour to see little penguins nesting (at own expense). (LD)

Day 2 - Bicheno to Pt Arthur

This morning we drive into the stunning Freycinet National Park for sweeping views over Wineglass Bay. You may choose to hike to Wineglass Beach via the lookout or for those more adventurous; a hike to the top of Mount Amos. Enjoy the view as we travel along the picturesque Tasman Peninsula to Port Arthur, where we stay tonight. Take a spine chilling Port Arthur Ghost Tour for a glimpse into the historic past of this penal colony (at own expense). (BLD)

Day 3 - Pt Arthur to Hobart

We'll spend this morning exploring the infamous Port Arthur Historic Site and take a boat cruise around the harbour. Next, we visit Remarkable Cave and a range of other sites on the Tasman Peninsula as we travel on to Hobart. (BL)

NOTES:

•All tours are accommodated and we offer HOSTEL (dorm or twin/dbl with shared facilities) or ensuite MOTEL/LODGE style (2-3 star ensuite). All twin/double rooms are subject to availability at time of booking. Motel/Lodge style may be located on different premises to hostel accommodation.

•Evening meals are BBQ style dinners, prepared by the guide (with passenger participation) and eaten as a group. Breakfasts are continental and lunches are picnic style.

•It is recommended passengers depart Hobart the following day. If flights are booked from Hobart Airport on Day 3, they must depart on/after 7.30pm.

•National park fees of $12 per person are payable on departure.

•Itineraries may vary and/or attractions be substituted due to seasonal conditions, weather extremes, Traditional Owner and national park requirements.

•Tour must be reconfirmed by 4pm the day prior to travel.
