Tour Itinerary
The tour leaves Salzburg and takes us to Oberndorf, where 'Silent Night, Holy Night' was performed for the first time in 1818. By visiting the Silent Night Chapel and the Silent Night Museum you will find all the information about this world famous piece and even have the opportunity to hear it in many different languages. During the Advent period there is a special Post Office within the Museum enabling your Christmas post to be sent with a special stamp and postmark. We then travel over the border into the neighbouring town of Laufen; this old Bavarian town has its own unique place in history from the transportation of Salt. During the return trip to Salzburg appreciate your experience whilst listening to traditional Advent music.
