Tour Itinerary
ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrive at Siem Reap airport where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will then be transferred to the Steung Siem Reap Hotel or a hotel of a similar standard.
After relaxing for a while in your hotel you will then visit the floating village of Chong Khneas on the Tonle Sap lake. During the visit to Chong Khneas you will see what life is like on a floating village, and how the locals spend their working days. After visiting the floating village you will be taken back to your hotel.
Evening at own arrangement.
Day 2
After breakfast in your hotel you will start with a guided tour of the Angkor temples. First of all, you will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat which was built in the early to mid 12th century. Suryavarman II constructed Angkor Wat into a huge temple like mountain with 5 huge towers, which can be seen from afar and was dedicated to the Hindu God and Vishnu.
After visiting Angkor Wat you will continue on to the Angkor Thom complex which was built in the late 12th to early 13th century during Jayavarman VII reign and it is a Buddhism temple. Angkor Thom is a 3 km square walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian empire. You will also visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper Kings, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo and to Bakheng Mountain for sunset.
After seeing the sunset at Bakheng Mountain, you will be taken back to the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast in your hotel you will then take a trip to Kbal Spean with its beautiful waterfall, and here you will see the 1,000 linga carvings in the riverbed. The carvings of the 1,000 lingas here are in particularly good condition. Please note that once you arrive at the base of Kbal Spean there is roughly a 30 to 45 minute uphill climb to actually reach the waterfall and the 1,000 lingas.
After visiting Kbal Spean you will visit the beautiful temple of Banteay Srey on the way back to your hotel.
Day 4
On the final day, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. If you have a late departure time, then this could be a good time for you to relax around the hotel swimming pool.

Transport to the temples by A/C car or bus (depending on group size).
