Horseback riding in the mountains of Santiago by Chile Off Track

Tour Itinerary

A 3 to 4 hour horseback riding trip through the Santiago´s rugged Cordillera, guided by local Arriero´s (cowboys). Take in the stunning vistas and admire the abundant flora and fauna from horseback.

Cross rivers, scale mountains and then savour a hearty lunch in gorgeous surrounds. After the ride we can share a maté or a cup of coffee at the Arriero´s house.

We use the small but sturdy criollo horses who make anybody feel at ease.

No previous experience is required. To make your trip more pleasant, we will lend you some chaps and/or a cap.

In summer time we also offer evening trips where you can soak in the sun set over Santiago while enjoying a famous Chilean Asado (BBQ) beneath a sparkling starry sky! Or you can sign up for our monthly Lunada - full moon tour
