This was a good tour overall. We were not happy about waiting for 2 hours to be picked up, but the day was worth it. It's too bad that there isn't more time to see more of the Summer Palace.

Tour Itinerary

You will be collected from your hotel between 7:20 and 8:30am.

First stop is the Temple of Heaven where generations of Chinese Emporers prayed for peace and good harvests. This is am amazing place, full of peace and tranquility.

After a traditional Chinese Lunch
the Forbidden City, the largest and best preserved palatial complex in existance in China.
we continue ton to the Summer Palace, the best preserved imperial garden in the world boasting ancient and amazingly well preserved architecture and interior decoration.

Return journey to arrive at your hotel at approximately 6:00pm

Note: In the course of the tour we will also allow for 2 stops (30 mins each) for shopping.
