Spend your time at the many easily accessible beaches in or around Split, take a short trip north along the coast to the medieval town of Trogir, a UNESCO world heritage site with castles and fortresses, or take a 45 minute ferry ride to beautiful Brac Island. We will be staying inside the Diocletian Palace area directly on the waterfront, which is over 1700 years old and the popular center for restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. There will be an optional rafting trip organized on Saturday from the coastal town of Omis.

Known by the Romans as Istria, Croatia remains a Roman icon, and is becoming a modern hot spot with its laid back feel, great nightlife and sparkling waters and beautiful coast.
