Tour Itinerary
1 Night and 1 Day includes Room, Hike, Meals
Set out from the Ranch on foot or on horseback and pass through our local town of Los Quemados, and follow the trail to a suspended bamboo bridge that will test your courage. Over the river you'll hike up-hill through the mountain town of Arroyo Toro where chocolate (cocao) production is the main source of income. Not far you'll have time to break for lunch and take a refreshing dip in the cool water of a small waterfall.
The trail continues through the forest, and if you're lucky your guide will maneuver up trees to give you a taste of the local fruits. After crossing streams and the heat of the sun, and just when your legs are ready for a break, you'll hear the sound of falling water Sliding down the waterfallas a gorgeous pool and waterfall open up before you.
You may say that all waterfalls are beautiful and you are pretty much correct; however, not all falls are great water slides as well! If you are with a daring guide and feeling adventurous yourself, you can boulder up the cliffs along the serious of multiple falls. At the top you will find a much longer cascade: slide down, jump off the next two and finish with a slide down the first or a dive off the cliff next to it.
