Tour Itinerary

Your Pico Duarte "All-Inclusive" Adventure Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Rancho Wendy and get acquainted with Los Quemados. Cross our river to find a wonderful trail and waterfall and have supper. Prepare for the hike tomorrow!

Day 2

In the morning, have breakfast and be transported to the foot of the trail to Pico Duarte. Get acquainted with your guides and off you go. Hike at your pace during the day, stop for meals and camp on the mountain. If you’re planning on the summit for sunrise on day 4, it is recommended that you camp on the mountain at the first [Los Tablones] or second [La Cotorra] station; but if you prefer, take your time, and enjoy the La Cienaga station.

Day 3

Have breakfast and start hiking for the day. Everything is at your own pace but if you're planning to reach the summit for sunrise on day 4, you should go through stations La Laguna, El Cruce, Aguita Fria, and camp for the night at La Comparticion.

Day 4

Rise early to reach the summit in time for a spectacular Caribbean sunrise. You’ll pass through the last station on the trail, Vallecito de Lilis before reaching the summit. Enjoy the hike back down the trail, and we’ll pick you up at the ranger station to head back to Rancho Wendy for dinner, a dip in the pool and a good nights sleep.
