Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Cairo (D)
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, welcome by our representative after the custom, holding a sign with your name. Then you will be transferred by private A/C minibus to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Cairo (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Discovery of the Giza plateau and the famous pyramids: Cheops (the largest built circa 2650 BC. JC.), one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and the only one that has stood the test of time. It was for over 40 centuries the highest monument erected by the man with a height of 146 meters. The Sphinx (lion head of Pharaoh), guardian enigmatic tombs and temple, it is turned towards the east to protect the tombs of the looters. It measures 73 meters long, 20 meters high and was carved from a single block of stone (optional: Camel or Horse Ride). Egyptian lunch in local restaurant. Following by Visit the necropolis of Sakkara, used as a cemetery for thousands of years, and still hides many secrets in the desert sand. The Pyramid at Sakkara is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. It was built during the Third Dynasty (about 2630 BC) for King Djoser and its construction was overseen by his vizier Imhotep. (Optional: Enjoy Sound and Light Show to Giza). Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Cairo (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the National Museum of Antiquities including the treasures range from the prehistoric age to the Roman period. You will see among others the famous treasure of Tutankhamen. It houses over 250,000 pieces, is one of the largest museums in the world. It allows visitors to discover the history of ancient Egypt through five millennia. Egyptian lunch in local restaurant Then, Visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, with in its enclosure the mosque of Mohamed Ali. The citadel was built on the hills in 1183 AD Moqattam overlooking the whole city was a point of defense against the Crusaders. Salah El Din appointed to be the governor of Egypt after the death of the sultan of Damascus, Noor-el-Din. (Optional: Enjoy Nile Dinner Cruise with belly dancing show). Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - Cairo (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Dahshur red pyramid with the pyramid and Bent. It consists of five pyramids including those of pharaohs Sesostris III (1887 - 1850 BC), Amenemhat II (1936 - 1904 BC) and Amenemhat III (1850 - 1800 BC). These three pharaohs belonging to the XII Dynasty. There is also the pyramid of Snefru (2575 - 2551 BC) was a pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty. Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt. You will discover objects that belonged to many great rulers of Egypt, including the reclining statue of Ramses II in alabaster. (Optional: Enjoy felucca ride on the Nile). Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Cairo (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the mosque of Al Azhar, founded in 970, is one of the oldest mosques of Cairo and the headquarters of Al Azhar University, the second oldest university still active in the world. Then Park Al Azhar Park is the newest and one of the most beautiful in Cairo. Located just north of the citadel, it offers a magnificent view of the mosque of Saladin and west across the Old Cairo. Lunch. Then visit Old Cairo (Coptic district), which will give you an idea of the atmosphere in which the early Christians lived in Egypt, visiting the Hanging Church, the Eglish of St Barbara, the Church of St. Sergius & the Ben Ezra Synagogue. And finally you go to the Souk Khan el Khalili, one of the most famous markets and oldest in the Middle East. (Optional: Panoramic View of the Capital of the Cairo Tower). Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Jour 6 - Cairo (B)
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for take your departure flight.
