Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Luxor (Welcome to Egypt)

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday! On arrival at Luxor International Airport, our representative will meet you to transfer you to your hotel. In the evening you will meet your tour leader who will brief you about the next few days of your journey.

Day 2: Luxor

In the morning after breakfast we cross the River Nile to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon. See the burial places of the most famous pharaohs and be amazed by how traces more than 3000 years old can still be discovered.

In the morning there is an optional excursion to discover Luxor from the sky by hot air balloon.

Day 3: Luxor / Aswan

After Breakfast check out from the hotel, then we start our day by driving to Edfu where we will visit the Edfu Temple dedicated to the god Horus and then on to Kom Ombo to see the double temple dedicated to the two gods Horus and the crocodile god Sobek. The temple lies in a spectacular position by the River Nile. After Kom Ombo we continue on to Aswan where you will check into your hotel and enjoy a short break for Lunch. In the afternoon we visit to the Temple of Philae (the ancient temple dedicated to Isis the goddess of magic and beauty) the Unfinished Obelisk, and the High Dam which keeps Egypt safe from the annual flood.

Day 4: Aswan (Kitchener and Elephantine Islands)

In the morning you will have some free time to yourself to shop in the colorful Aswan Souq and markets, discover Aswan city and sit on the banks of the magical Nile.

Afternoon: Felucca trip around the botanical garden and the rock island of Elephantine

In the morning there is an optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temple to visit the great Temple which was built by King Ramses II.

Day 5: Aswan / Luxor (Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Aswan Train Station to catch the train to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor, transfer to your hotel and check in. Then you will have time on your own to relax or stroll around the city. In the afternoon, visit the East Bank of Luxor, the amazing Karnak Temple where nearly every pharaoh has left his or her mark, and Luxor temple which was built by some of the most famous pharaohs like Hatshepsut, Amenhotep III and Tutankhamen. After visiting the two temples continue to Luxor Museum to see some of the most famous monuments in Ancient Egyptian history then return to your hotel.

Day 6: Luxor (Dendarah & Abydos Temples)

After breakfast, there is an excursion to visit the temple of Abydos in Sohaq and then the temple of the god Hathor at Dendarah on the way back.

Day 7: Luxor (Valley of the Nobles, Madinat Habu and Dair El Medina)

After breakfast, there is a second visit to the West Bank to visit the Tombs of the Nobles, Habu Temple, Dair el Medina (also known as the Tombs of the Workers) and the Temple of the god Hathor.

In the afternoon, there is an optional excursion to Banana Island to see different kinds of fruit trees and enjoy some sailing on the Nile in a felucca

Day 8: Luxor and Back Home

After breakfast check out from the hotel, and our representative will transfer you to Luxor International Airport. After the magical week we say goodbye to you.
