Tour Itinerary
London's longest running bicycle tour company invites you to take a morning cycle ride in Central London.
Our experienced tour guides have expert knowledge of the city. They will safely guide you around the city on cycle paths, parks and quieter streets, telling you the history of the city and the sights as the tour unfolds.
We saddle up at our cycle hire centre at Gabriel's Wharf located on the South side of the river in Waterloo. After choosing a bike, our guide will escort you along the riverside, down side roads and alley ways though central London. Stopping along the way to admire the amazing engineering achievement of the London Eye, one of the largest ferris wheels in the world, and then just under the bridge, the story of Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament. Continuing along the river, we cross Lambeth Bridge and cycle past the small red brick houses that line the streets. From the courtyard of Westminster School you can admire the belfry of Westminster Abbey, then over to St. James Park. The reason for starting early is to meet up with the (not to be missed) pomp and pageantry associated with the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Heading back to Central London, we walk though Trafalgar Square with Lord Nelson looking down from his pedestal, then Leicester Square, skirting China Town, followed by Covent Garden. Taking a break and watching some street theatre on offer in the market piazza we then get back on the bikes, and ride though London's legal district and over to the colourful Leather Lane Market and Smithfield Market, London's recently redeveloped meat market.. with some horrible history! Then over to Sir Christopher Wren's amazing St Paul's Cathedral. With the river in sight, we cross south on the famous Wobbly Bridge past the Tate Modern Art Gallery, and you will now feel that you have a real orientation of London.
You can book this tour in English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese.
