From the Old Port of Fira, you are embarking on the traditional boat for you visit to the three volcanic islands. The first stop is on Nea Kameni, where you can discover the impressive geological phenomenon of this historical volcano, which is still active. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to have a mud bath in the natural warm water of Palea Kameni. Then, you can rest, have a lunch or discover the village of Manolios by donkey on the island of Thirassia.
-It takes about 20 minutes to climb down the stairs leading to the port on foot or by donkey and 5 minutes if you choose the camble car.

I was very disappointed in this trip. The Volcano was good. We spent two hours in Thirassia, which was way too long. There was nothing to do there, except have lunch, which took less than 45 minutes. Then we went to Oia. But, we couldn't get off the boat to see the city, unless we found out own transportation back to Fira. By the time we got back to Fira, it was too late to go up the hill to see the city (since we needed to get back on our cruise ship). So we ended up seeing neither Oia n
