Tour Itinerary
Our tour has three parts. First, we visit the magnificent palace of the Opera House and Andrássy Avenue, then we take the Millennary Underground, the oldest subway of the continent. During the second part of the tour, we stay in the City Park, the first public park of the world. Here, we peep into Széchenyi Spa with people bathing in the open air warm water pools, then we explore the romantic Vajdahunyad Castle, as well as the Heroes' Square with the most spectacular national monument of Hungary. From there, we take the bus or underground back to the Inner City and cross the river Danube through the old Chain Bridge. The last part of the tour is on Buda side, where one can really understand why Budapest won the title World Heritage. It has one of the most outstanding urban landscapes of the world with its Danube bridges, the breathtaking Parliament Building and other monumental buildings on both banks of the Danube. After climbing Buda Castle (60 meters), we can admire the amazing view of Pest from Fishermen's Bastion and even watch the main historical attractions of the Castle District, Matthias Church and the Holy Trinity Square.
